From what I can imagine Bnet v2 looking like I won't have any problem paying a monthly fee to play. Blizzard isn't going to redo the interface and expect to charge 15 bucks a month - there'll be some big changes. Also keep in mind that you'll essentially be paying for content updates as well as bug free content (no dupes, etc.).
True, very true. Since we'd be p2ping, they'd really feel obliged to give us a nice bug free enviroment and content updates, something that we really want right now but probably won't get much of since D2 is free over Battle.net...
Idk really i dont'.. i mean i hate the fact that i would have 2 pay 2 play it but i would prolly start to miss my friends so damn much that i would have to suck it up and pay 2 play >.>

You should not fear death but embrace it 4 death is a release from the pain that you suffer on earth..
Personally, I think that just knowing that you are paying your hard earned cash to have the privilage of playing a game you already payed for takes the fun out of it. It's like, you are aware that you have to cough up next months fee WHILE you are playing the game..... I don't like that. Blizzard, DO NOT CHARGE A MONTHLY FEE FOR B.NET!!!

What is normal? Normal is a concept that everyone or a majority of people are the same or similar. However, we know that everyone is unique. If everyone is unique, then everyone is different. If everyone is different, then everyone is weird. If everyone is weird, then everyone is normal.
I don't like that. Blizzard, DO NOT CHARGE A MONTHLY FEE FOR B.NET!!!
I thought that B.net (even B.net 2.0) was to remain free, and it was the games that incurred the fees.
I (now) pay for WOW, so the concept of monthly fees is not a big issue for me anymore, however the method of payment, and duration of err subscription are.
If it is by credit card only (and some are!!), then I am screwed. I don't own a credit card.
If you have the game cards that retail for $50 NZ ($75 US (i think)) and give you 60 days of game time, I could go for that.
But this is Diablo, assuming Diablo III truly is Diablo III as in the sequel to Diablo II, I don't think they would switch genres part way through a series, first two were "RPG" so why would the third one be a MMORPG? Doesn't make much sense to me.
If the third game in the Diablo series (World of Warcraft is the fourth in the WC series) is a P2P MMORPG, would I pay to play it, yes I would, though I would seriously consider where my loyalties lie, paying for both WOW and another MMO might be a serious drain on my fundage.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Some of our parents are more conservative with their dollars, and, thus, I must deign (did I use that right?) to get a job or suffer the cruelties of being unable to purchase things.

As much as I would love to pay to play so that there won't be any hackers I doubt it will happen and I'm sure Blizzard would lose a lot of Diablo fans if they did that. I would gladly pay $15 a month to have a hack-free Diablo 3.
blizzard promises that the game will be hack/cheating free... the reason why i stopped playing d2 was due to the over hacking of the game, i was sick and tired being pked by naked characters, in duels and while lvling, i was sick and tired of the nonscnese dupe items trading. ( but dont get me wrong, i was on the bad side of this too, being a player who had all these items) so its not like im complaining about it cuz i was just a noob in the game which i wasnt.
Anyways long story short ill only pay to play if....
-no hacks or cheats or duped items are available (most stressed)
-lag even though all online games will expiernce some of it, is promised that will be a thing to work on
-thers a set up pvp or even pvm ladders or groups in sort of to record data
-overall stats of a player (not mandatory)
- No voice chat please (it will ruin the communication status of the game...i love the old school chatting communication and its proven to work
-realms are expanded not just uswest and east but North america
if you have anything to add please feel free to. as in its good to know how others think.
but personally if blizzard promises a safe closed bnet im down to pay the watever the amount is probably 9.99 or 14.99 that for me is like 1 less stop at a fast food resturant or 3 less packs of protection
What's the problem with SP?
It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
Although in my opinion I think it wont be pay to play.
Which Final Fantasy Character Are You?

I wish my mom would buy me games...
I'm too young to get a job...
"Cards and flowers on your window, your friends all plead for you to stay,
sometimes beginnings aren't so simple, sometimes goodbye's the only way."
I never said you had to...
Blizzard please read the above which i fully agreed with
