Ok, i just found this out, maybe is old or stupid but i guess its something.
There's a fansite of diablo 3 called www.diabloiii.es and its on spanish , and it basically says that his fansite was accepted by Blizzard as an "official" one, i dont know if thats true or not, but that site is pretty good and and always had good info.
That article is from january 13 2008, fairly new for me so.. here's the link
i really hope this means something , and if you dont understand spanish and get intereseted on it, ill translate it for ya
You will not give a shit section of thread

Blizzard Has accepted this blog as an Authorized Blizzard Fan site Database.
Like we said exactly 2 months ago, Blizzard has in their list of official fansites a category of Diablo III in which that moment it was empty.
Just a few days ago blizzard has informed me that this blog( Diablo III blog),
has been accepted as an Authorized Blizzard Fan site
Apart from the honour of being shown as official site and the benefits that entails (who still do not know which will be),The main news is that Blizzard accepts sites in the category of Diablo III. This means that there is a project on Diablo 3, a draft of which are already authorized to accept fansites.
Now I can say that it is almost confirmed that Diablo 3 will be the next Blizzard title.
erm that crappy blog gets recognition and we dont? what a load of shit.
Crappy? Come on dude, obviously that other site updates a lot more than this site does. We've had so many opportunties to put Blizzard related news in our headlines but we never do. If we can't even put in our headlines that Blizzard is having on official podcast, then we deserve not to get recognition.
