Havok makes all the best games out there.
Havok Physics™ is a major innovation in game physics and sets the bar for next-generation games.
Based upon the award winning Havok Physics 2 SDK that has been licensed by over 70 clients and shipped in over 50 titles, Havok Physics introduces Continuous Physics™, an innovative technology that frees up production time by eliminating design limitations that stem from high-velocity game objects.
Unlike current generation physics systems, which utilize only discrete physics, Havok's Continuous Physics offers an extra level of integrity to your game, and removes restrictions and fix-ups that sap production time that restricts the design of your game.
Havok Physics also incorporates robust memory optimizations crucial for simulating physics in complex game environments on next-generation platforms.
Now how FUCKING great do you this this new game will be?
The World’s Best Developers Turn to Havok! The following game titles on current and next-generation Wii, Xbox 360 and Playstation®3 platforms will be released utilizing Havok products. For more information on a particular game and to view game platforms click on the link.
what ever game they're going to be develop will probably be pretty good. but i dont think its diablo 3 thats going to be the new MMO.
this is probably going to be the planning and mapping out of the Next-Gen MMO thats most likely going to come out after WoW starts to die down

I'm wih Sabacco on this, I reckon it's a starcraft MMO. They have given up on ghost because they're turning it into an MMO. Would make sense with the physics collision models and explosions etc.
Diablo 3 will be an RPG on the revamped battle.net2 and be 3D as well.
pretty sure Blizzard have stated Battle.net 2.0 will be free to use, and certain games will have fees. much like how Battle.net 1.0 works, its free but WOW has the fee.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
it uses some form of Battle.net, it has to use something, and i know of no other thing blizzard uses from its multiplayer portions of its games
Battle.net is a bunch of servers that are used by all blizzard games right?
my point is Battle.net 2.0 will be free but its the games that have the fee.

Yeah but less so and more importantly it specifically ties to a next gen MMO and I don't think they will turn Diablo into an MMO yet as it is fantasy and they already have a fantasy MMO (WoW). makes more sense for them to try and break the Sci-Fi MMO market and blitz Eve, anarchy online and Starwars.
ya know theres too many thread about these stupid job postings and the title always gets me excited cuz its always like "OMG can you believe what Blizzards doing BROS!!!" and then i look at it thinking (like an idiot) thats its gonna be something new and then.... someone cut and pasted the job postings which have been up there forever, yet they were aww struck bye it.
people have to stop playing with my emotions

I don't think it will be a Starcraft MMO, why have 2 games of the same title(Starcraft) being made? With WoW they started making it AFTER The Frozen Throne.
Its either something new, blizz reps have said they might try something different, or its our beloved Diablo. Either way Making a Diablo an MMO wouldn't be Diablo, Diablo has been that mass killing of monsters, not 1 on 1 combat which WoW is...
Just keep in mind the endless monsters + mass killing of diablo(RPG) vs the 1 on 1 combat of WoW(MMO)
In anycase its something new and i cant wait to see what it is
This "next gen" mmo could be just like diablo 2 but with all new fancy graphics, basically imagine diablo 2 but in an mmorpg style world, it's possible, but i'm not saying that's what they'll do.
I imagine whatever they do if it's diablo it will involve mass killing monsters.
Exactly. "Next-gen" will be unlike any other mmo before it, so lets quit comparing this new project to WoW. By the name alone we can see that it will surpass whatever WoW is.
An interesting comment about the job postings: The Lead 3D Environment Artist and Lead 3D Character Artist positions specifically names the team that developed Diablo 1 and 2. These 2 positions are tagged "Top Secret" just like the positions for the Next-Gen MMO. Coincidence or two seperate projects?

Hahaha thats a good one. Wow...
WoW was being developed the same time War3 was started. Thats the reason for many things in War3 that really didn't match up to warcraft 2.

They Release Diablo 3,and a year later they pump out an MMO..... Done deal.
They did it for WoW, and they will do it again.
Patching new content, and take it like a new approach like
Kill Andy and all that, then in the MMO Expand on that.
Diablo 3 will be an RPG on the revamped battle.net2 and be 3D as well.
