There just is something majestic with capping level at 99, but I believe it would be entertaining that levels beyond 100 would need more than just experience to achieve.
Quest or certain amount of pvp wins to move to a higher level. Now that could prove to be fun.

lvl 99 is fine, and they alrdy announced "hero" classes. ppl that lead their class on ladder will have epic skills no1 else has access to
Wait what? Where and when was this announced about the ladder epic skills and "hero" classes? Hero classes are just the normal classes we play are they not? Please explain?
well = yeah , but i liked the idea of changing cap during the years ....
becouse when you become highter lvl - you have nothing to do than leave your character as it is ... and it just stay there , and you do not wish even to play with it , becouse there is no point of playing ...
In the panels yesterday someone asked about end game content.
The Dev's said that they are working on it and definitely paying attention to End Game content!
Well, all I can answer this with is a question: What would it serve? Speical skills? More attribute points? A "1337" status?
If its for special skills or more attibute points I could see the 100+ level. Even making an almost GODLY character as a reward for all the hrs played. Past that I couldn't see a char past lev 99. Just my opinion.
For me leveling in D2 was a hell alot more fun that in WOW, until the exp increase. But 99 seems like a nice goal to keep with the similarities to D2. I never got a char to 99, had a lot of 80's chars but never got there.
I am just hoping it will be so good, that it will have a fun replay value.
In D2 classic we had the first lvl99 race, D3 should have the lvl100 race.
The first lvl100 at each server gets a special equipment set(lvl100 req) but with no stats, just so you can show off you're uberness(and lots of free time).
Hopefully Blizzard will make lvling as hard as it was in D2, people should work really hard to get past lvl85+
Get real, folks, the diablo you all knew is dead, a few years ago i said right here in this forum that D3 had a pretty good chance of being blizzard first bust (i was flamed to death ofc), and what you know, its not even beta and its already looking that way.

I hope as many as possible!

It is very hard to understand your points when you use such strange English.
You do mean "he talks about" and "this points" right?
and what does hardness around work mean?
Bah terrible english makes me not want to read some peoples posts.
You want people to stop at a high enough level that things are still a challenge in Hell mode.
So I think 99 is fine.
Or else people will be soloing Hell mode for massive loot.

on topic:
With the new difficulty they're thinking on, maybe they'll rise the bar a little, 120 maybe
Sentence of the year:
"WoW, It's like a disease"
but that's more of a personal preference lol
Quoted and in sig... rofl
Anyways no they dont need to be over 99 but I wouldnt mind either way.
