Of course it requires it. But the question was whether each RoS copy needs its own copy of Vanilla, or if you can combine several RoS with one Vanilla. Anyone here who really has multiple accounts himself?

Pretty sure you need vanilla and RoS... RoS says it requires original D3.. But I haven't done it so I'm not 100%

You can't have multiple diablo licences on the same battle.net account.
