Wasn't it like Bulder's Gate with the kobolds and the evil brothers. I played that it had sick character choices, the expansion and the game was very hard for me to complete.
Lin.dirow if you are a fan of Baldur's Gate, and it sounds like you are you would know that in my post above there are many aspects of baldur's gate esp classes, also within the master list in the 'Need to be different in d3' thread there are several similarities to baldur's gate, monsters, pubs, alcohol, prostitutes, mages, warriora, priests, capes, items in piles. i would recomend re reading the list be fore posting ideas again.

Mmm i wouldn't want baldurs gate in d3... i wouldn't want Anything from older games in d3.. cause then it might just feel like your playing the older games, which means d3 might get boring fast?

well some aspects of BG are ok, thats why i mentioned them. but i think we should get back on topic
-more warrior, priest and mage types, there are lots of classes yet to be explored and some are quite fun to play; Anti-Paladin (anti-Paladin is not a necromancer) Archer (kinda like male amazon) Bard (not the hellfire version a good one) Bounty Hunter Fist Fighter Hellion Ninja (kinda like male assassin) Ranger Samurai (kensai) thief -some more warrior classes or warriors with a few magic spells -there is really only 1 healer (paly) and yes people like to going healers, so more healer classes; Cavalier Inquisitor monks (zealots) clerics warrior priests (think knight's templar with spells) one of which is a kind of exorcist, good against demons and undead -a new type of mage would be nice either a; Abjurer specializes in protection magic (kinda like auras) Conjurer specializes in creating creatures and objects to help him Diviner specializes in detection and divining magic (find/disable trap, far sight and identify) Enchanter specializes in manipulating the minds of sentient beings Geomancer specializes in earth based magic Hydromancer specializes in water based magic Illusionist specializes in creating illusions to confuse and mislead Invoker specializes in invocation/evocation magic (lightning/magic type spells) pyromancer specializes in fire based magic Necromancer specializes in magic dealing with death [but we already have 1] Transmuter specializes in magic that alters physical reality Warlock (not like the wow one) A supernatural character whose sinister powers are inborn abilities, not spells, Such as shapeshifting

monk as a no weapon or staff fighter with some mage skillz
angelic/demonic character with light/darkness skillz
another tank like character. maybe a dwarf fighter with earth skillz (quake that does damage and knockback, mud that slows enemies down, ground spikes that do damage, etc)
another healer character. maybe a barb shaman spinoff.
i dont want races to be in diablo, it would ruin it. diablo is humans only and should stay that way

Crusader - Definetely in need, such as a templar.
Dryad - One with nature (not the trees, those are different dryads).
Prior - A healing person would be nice.
Beserker - A more crude form of Barbarian with heigtened strength.
Druid (Female) - If you have ever played D&D, female druids are better.
Warlock - More powerful Necro with more damage skills.
Absolist - Warriors of the ethereal plain...enough said.
Yeah, I think that would be a cool setup for characters. Crusader kinda like in RO would be cool because of the skills.

If there is nothing there now, what exactly was there to begin with? Was it moved? Was it crushed? Did it disappear? Or...was it ever there at all?
The Horadrim, Swords Master and Coveted for his ability to dissipate and reappear at will, almost like smoke. He gets his power from the terror of his victims, and he rejuvinates himself with fear.
A great character for the mix. similar to the assasin i guess...
Skill trees would be, Shadow mastery, Sharpen, and Terror

if you read my post earlier (classes in Blue text) you would see most of the classes you suggested are in there,
but i do agree these classes are needed, well maybe not the dryad

i really wish people would read more than just the last page of a thread,
most of the classes that the last few posters have suggested have already been said at least 5 times!

How about a half-breed (not like the before mentioned ones) of like a Human and an Orc? It could be like a Big burly guy with claw feet and big teeth and big claws. Black armour covered in spike and 2 swords (similar to diablo2 barbarian). It could have a finishing move where it stabs its enemy and pulls them forward and then eats some of their flesh (its a 1/2 orc, remeber) and gains health/mana from it. Also it could have a move where it flips back its sword so that the blade is facing towards it and claws the enemy and spins its sword back up and slices it enemy.
Dragons"...?
that's almost the source of all RPG system, which comes out from a game
type called "TRPG (table role playing game)" and can be trace back to... I
don't know, the 1970's? It's system for chars was the most logical and
precice system I'd ever seen.
you can see its stuff in NWN,Dungeon Lord, Border's Gate( did I spelled it
right= ="?), even in Diablo series and WWC series, and that system is almost
used by all the favorite games I love! Come on, don't put this source out of
the list...
exsist. And what I was talking about, for example, in DiabloII, the one that
summons undead(does its name start with "en"?...I forgot it's translation in
english) is in fact a priest with darken power, if we see it in a D&D system,
and the assasin is more like a monk in D&D, an amazon is like a ranger in
D&D, even other char can be found in the system, and besides, I'm talking
about a master peice of all RPG systems, the TRPG! Go and take a look what
it is and come back to see if it's the way I'm talking about.
And to be honest, Bulder's Gate wasn't the finest system to represent D&D,
I rather vote for NWN.
root of all western style rpgs, even fantasy novels of all over the world! And
to be staight, I'm telling you guys that these western rpgs I played are all in
this D&D system, including Diablo and WWC. So there must be more ideas
that can be found in the system, look at Diablo and then look at WWC, than
the other games mentioned, do anyone found any smililarities? Yes there is,
becuase it's all from the same root and boy, it wasn't untill I played Diablo
can I recognize the most powerful game that's running under the D&D
system. So what I mean, more stronger D&D stuff will just be more tricky and
fun! pehaps a combine of sourcer and fighter, a Magic Swordsman! that's not
bad eh?

Enchanter specializes in manipulating the minds of sentient beings
Geomancer specializes in earth based magic
Hydromancer specializes in water based magic
