well you cant have too many defensive class's because well you still have to have the single player aspect. of the game and that would be hard to play as a priest and not constantly die. then again if you have fighter/healer you have the spammed class thats bound to get nerffed to pieces.

Proverbs 1:7
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
yes that is correct, a large part depends on their skills though, 3 or four skills that do a lot of damage (of either F,L,C,P,phys,M), and high hitpoints and you should be fine you could always just blast open battle.net evry now and again.

i see all these back diablo re-emergance iseas. but if ya look, diablo from 1 and 2 look vertualy nothign alike. so what about what about teh lesser eviles? what if diablo was a title? el diablo in spanish means the devil so, what if after diablos distruction creatined a void in hell and one of teh lesser evils took its place resuming the past deablos power, title and rank?
what about azmadon, lord of lies. geting a permotion. and after teh worldnode ws destroyd, he got a huge power and ego trip and desided to rage all out war?
don't know about you guys, but it sounds very plauseable and more likely. and exiled demon is not likely to be welcomed back into hell with open arms any way.
i see what yoru sayign but your missing a huge part of teh game also. vampires and and elves absolutlynot. but what about the clasic dreadknights, teh succubi? d1 and 2 are literaly littered with angels and demons. i beleave you should have the option of playign as one of them, with your own set of stats and skills or even magic...though a dread night realy don't have magic. my only biggy about this game...i hope they don't put in those damned fallen one monster line, or anythign like them...its annoyign as hell to chase them down when yoru not a ranged fighter.
its still a more pheaseable idea. i mean realy, big d's soul stone from what i know is lost and or destroyed. so he has no real way of staying for all intents and purposes alive in teh mortal realm. so he fades to oblivion. and one of teh lessers coem in acting all big and bad, wants to make a name for himself...thats just clasic bad guy demon story line. get promoted. rage war. realise yoru in over yoru head, push yoru efforts stronger, get an over inflated ego. lose teh war. lol
ya know, if ya think about it, cain would also be a prime canidate for diablo to possess. weak in body and now doubt mind by now. he's reachign up there in age, a bit frieghtened, to teh point of makeing a deal with the devil. and in diablos view. all that mystical knowlage, he'd know wher to search for his brothers soul stones.

yes i have thrown that idea up several times, and also diablo baal and meph do not need thier soulstones
