Are you excited? Well I'm excited. I don't even know why, I'm pretty sure we're not gonna see "big stuff", but even the small bits and pieces that already surfaced got me excited.
Angzt will put all the news up on the frontpage, so keep an eye on that. If you have stuff that is missing let us know, obviously the net is exploding with news as Blizzcon unfolds!
Here's the roadmap for us Diablo Fans at Blizzcon:
Friday night (and Saturday morning):
Opening ceremony 20:00 CET
Diablo III panel 0:30 CET
Quin69 stream 2:15 CET
DatModz stream 3:30 CET
Rhykker stream 4:45 CET
Saturday night (and Sunday early morning):
Quin stream 22:30 CET
DatModz stream 23:45 CET
Rhykker stream 1:00 CET
Closing ceremony 3:30 CET
So, what got you most excited? For me the little things - making numbers more readable, buff UI updates - are already amazing quality of life changes that I'm looking forward to.
i know we don't have the right to demand anything, since it is their product and we just helped them getting their costs back (and making a small fortune on the side. also, most d3 players own or actively play another blizzard game.).
but what have done that they ACTIVELY ignore diablo completely (minus the few words about it) in their main event? their own convention? what are they trying to tell us? it makes me really mad..
Honestly as far as patches are concerned this does look like an interesting patch. Fixes to some core issues like buffs, UI improvements and antiquated sets for better build diversity, a new zone aka new content (Greyhollow Island was initially referenced in a 2.2 datamine so its been under development a while), etc so at the very least it looks like they do want to further improve the game and add to it. At this point it looks like they will continue with the major patches every season with various feature additions and improvements for the foreseeable future which isn't horrible.....I mean they could just fix the old sets and then stop all development and release minor patches for each season with a few items and call it a day so this isn't worst case scenario. We will learn a lot more I'm sure at the official panel and hopefully they will have some cool announcements for the coming months besides just 2.4......maybe some early 2.5 info as well?

Nothing for D3 in the opening ceremony
not a single mention of D3 in the opening ceremony. yikes.
Diablo is dead RIP.
RIP D3

I feel dead inside.
Honestly feel like rioting at blizz headquarters. Come on every title has a spot during opening ceremony except d3? WTF
Not all those who wander are lost.
Their only chance of saving D3 is in 3 hours, when they introduce all the new features for it.

They could still surprise us and just reveal a small tease/cinematic for an xpac.
So far what I have seen for Patch 2.4 looks good. Maybe looking mostly forward to Akkhan rework and DH set.
