Ntrnettufguy here and I'd like to share with you an experience that I had earlier today while playing Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. It was quite unique, so I hope you enjoy reading this short writeup.
NOTE: There is a video that goes along with this write-up. If you would like to watch the video you can click here (YouTube).
So I was GR key farming today when I came across a T8 rift called the Enchanted Journey. I don't know if this is a description for all rifts like I'm about to describe, but if you find one here's why you should clear it:
I zoned into the rift and broke a pot next to the entrance and boom, first legendary. Didn't even mean to do it, so whatever. As I progressed through the rift I noticed that the only mob type was cows. Yes COWS. The type of cows that you'd see in the 'cow portal' or 'secret cow level' if you put a Bovine Bardiche in the Kanai's Cube and hit transmute. So cool, cows. What's special?
Well every level of this rift was only inhabited by cows and no other mob type (excluding goblins). What's also special were two other notable inclusions: 1) A pseduo-jar of souls event conducted by the Ghost of the Cow King, and 2) a pack of goblins on level 9 of the rift. What's also noteworthy was that there were solo goblins on many of the different levels of the rift. All is fine and dandy, right?
Well who has gotten two conduits in the same rift? If I have before I surely don't remember, but guess what? Yup, I got two Conduit shrines in this rift, and seemingly in the 'same spot' just on different levels.
Finally, I managed to get 13 legendary items, including sets, by completing this rift all the way to the end. I even got a Focus ring and a Furnace 2-handed mace. I'm sure the loot is just random, but seems like decent loot (FYI, they rolled crappy).
Now you may be thinking that this is just plain happenstance, but I've never seen this rift type before. Have you? If so, please comment on this post and let me know how your experience was. Did you run into a pack of goblins in this type of rift? Was the rift called 'Enchanted Journey'? Did you experience a 'jar of souls' style event lead by the Ghost of the Cow King? How were the legendary drops in the rift? Did you noticed anything special about the shrines? Any and all information is greatly appreciated.
I just wanted to share this with you all and get any feedback from the community. I have the video of the Cow Rift clear on myYouTube channel here (Cow Rift)and you can always check out myTwitchstream anytime for some fun D3 action. Click any of those links to be taken to the appropriate webpage.

Edit1: Oddly enough, not even 1 hour after posting this I just did a rift and got two conduits back to back (so much that the first one hadn't even expired before I got the second one.. ya, I grabbed it early..). I'm guessing the dual conduit thing above is not exclusive to that rift. The new question is.. Has anyone gotten three conduit shrines in one rift?
Have gotten the cow rift 4-5 times, including times with 0 legendaries. Never had a goblin pack in one.
The first times I got it the exp bonus from the event seemed really nice. In more recent times the bonus was pretty much unnoticeable since GRifts already give so much exp.
Can confirm same. 10 lvl rift. All cows. Goblins on almost every level and 1 goblin pack toward end level. Above average legendary drops for a single rift. Was pretty dope indeed.
In your cases, did you only clear up to the Rift Guardian (RG) and then teleport back to town to close the rift, ORDid you clear the entire rift including additional levels to the point where you can take the stone back to town?
NOTE:
I've gotten more goblin packs after killing the RG than beforehand in many different rift scenarios, including this one. In the video, I killed the RG on the Enchanted Journey level 4 at 04:52 and got the Goblin Pack on the Enchanted Journey level 9 at 10:42. Hence, if you were to just teleport to town after the RG is dead then, in this case, you would have missed out on the Goblin Pack later in the rift.
Other people are reporting similar results to what I experienced. This has me concluding that those that don'thave a similar experience are likely not clearing additional levels.
I had over 10 cow rifts already. I always clear them to end. Legendary drop rate seems to be the same for me as in other rifts.
Not once I had double Conduit in it or a goblin pack. Multiple solo goblins, yes, a lot.
The Jar of Souls type event is always there in the cow rift, and yes, it brings a lot of XP with it.
You just lucked out a lot in your cow rift level.
Every few days, while "normal" rifting (that is usually T8 for me with Sages set) I encounter back-to-back Conduits, they are not so uncommon in my eyes.
Cow rifts are regular thing, as well as developers zombie rift that you also probably havent seen before and that will get you amazed and make another post on the forums like "omg the zombies had names of developers on them omg omg I have never seen this before, and also I got some legs from the rift, has anyone seen that? omg"
Well just keep playing and enjoying the game, thats cool that you still have some stuff that you haven't seen
By the way - there is absolutely no sense in clearing Cow rift, or any other rift (except super dense graveyard) further after killing the guardian. There is little use of goblins, except the green and blue ones. And the fact that you get goblin pack after the guardian more often is also illusional, as there is just more space left after the guardian than before, you could clear 2 more rifts to the guardian in the same time as clearing one rift to the end. Getting the same chance of finding the pack per time spent but also getting more GR keys from guardians. After all the main aim of farming normal rifts are keys and death breaths, everything else is minor.

The earlier ones I cleared all the way. The later ones I only cleared to RG.
I've also had multiple goblin packs in regular rifts quite a few times, so that likely has nothing to do with the cow rift.
I just did one this morning. Yeah I did a full clear. There does tend to be a lot of goblins. Not on every level, and not necessarily in packs. But, this has more to do with the amount of floors. You can have a cow rift with 10 or more floors. So yes a lot of goblins per rift, but, overall, about the same amount of goblins per floor. Why did I do a full clear? Didn't care about the goblins. Don't get me wrong, nothing more satisfying than killing goblins. But if you are looking for pools of reflection, there is always a pool at the corner just before the floor exit. It isn't always a pool of reflection, but it seems to be about a 40%ish chance that it will be. I'm pretty sure I got 4 this morning. Of course I entered a 54 GR right after the Cow Rift and lost my pools because I got attacked by 3 Elite Pack in a Keep Depths map. But for me, it's all about the Pools of Reflection.

I can 100% confirm that I have had a very similar experience.
10 level rift
Repeat pylons
1 gob pack
Single gobs on what seemed like every single level
The RG was the same guardian in the cube cow level
THERE IS NO COW LEVEL, but there is a cow rift.....
I've had one as well and now wish I did not just leave the rift after I had killed the guardian
i've had rifts... normal ones... with 3 conduit pylons ...
no fuss was made
I had one too, but without the goblins.
Have gotten the cow rift 4-5 times, including times with 0 legendaries. Never had a goblin pack in one.

I also had a cow rift a few times, in previous seasons aswell as in this season. Lots of fun, always. And i'm ALWAYS clearing up to level 10.
More legendary's, more goblins, more goblin packs, more pylons, more experience pools and just more fun because of cows, haha.
I even had a cow rift once that had 2 goblin packs.
