i have lvl 70 monk, barb and WD all on season and i have a problem going to greater torment difficulties.
The WD is ok because he is a Mage. when i go for the Poisoncloud Build i actually can deal damage in hihger rifts but i dont like to play that way.
When i go with the barb or the Monk (and the Monk is my favourite by far)) then im stuck at torment 1 (its even difficult with the monk there) because i dont do any damage and to be honest its a little frustrating
i tried to skil them like i see it in really good builds from your site but without the right items it just doesnt work and i dont think ill get the items in the lower rifts. At least it doesent seam like the very good items are dropping in lower rifts. The Bounties give me plans very rare ant the sets i have (i figured the elite sets wont be done with plans ) are not very good with exeption of 1 item here and there from a very good set but theres never a second showing up.
Can you guys please give me some tips how to increase my Damage? i cant stand playing my monk at master or torment 1 only
thats the next thing. i tried to get the cube a few times with different caracters but i dont get this thing. is there a good guide how to get him? on Youtube it doesnt seem too hard but i just dont find it.
guys im really new here what does it mean to link your profile?
You have a bunch of crafted legendaries, so I'm assuming you've done enough bounties to have most of the blacksmith plans (if not, this weekend is the perfect time to finish off your collection). While your instinct might be to craft and wear those legendary items, the lvl 70 set items are far superior when used together, especially if you have a Ring of Royal Grandeur, which you have equipped.
You can easily get 3 piece Aughilds, 4 piece Ashearas and 3 piece Captains all at the same time, which is a large enough boost to survivability and damage which should allow you to farm at least T3-T4 without much issue with a decent skill build. This should be your first goal with items.
Your spec is not really that great either. I'm not really an expert, so someone else might want to come in with better advice, but a few suggestions I would make. Sweeping Wind is not worth it, especially with your crit chance. It is just a pain to keep up and it will take ages to stack back to 3 stacks when it drops. Exploding Palm should be your main damage burst, and I found Lashing Tail Kick way more effective at getting that to pop. If you can get some Gungdo Bracers early, this can easily carry you into getting a full set of whatever gear to move into T7+.
Also, Epiphany - Inner Fire is also pretty rubbish damage. If you want damage and don't need the survivability, just go Insight for the extra spirit gen to spam Lashing Tail and EP. Then when you get the damage and need survivability, swap into Desert Shroud.
I'll be honest, if you are splitting your time between 3 characters, you will never get any of them geared enough to move beyond early Torments. It does take a reasonable time commitment to get the gear you need.
Hello. Below you will find some of the endgame builds you can use for different classes. The links I am sending you include very nice guides about what its build does and how you should play it. Now you have a target. Just try to reach there
the main is the monk by far of course so this one will be focused. Im not splitting the time too much but i just wanted to try out the others and i will play with them too but not as much as i want to play the monk.
the spec i have now is jsut something i tried out while waiting and no its not going to stay.
Still i need to find something but i think thats more for the monk forum.
ill try out the set thing you suggested when ill be back from work.
In my opinion the absolute fastest way to gear if your new to season is join T6 (T7 if ure para 100, T8 if ure para 150.. don't go above this id say) public games and just get carried. Seasons been out a while, so most people are geared to the point they don't care if your just following because everything gets 1 shot anyway... Craft sages set while you do this to get even more death's breathe and throw a ruby in ure helm for XP.
I started the season recently and using this method I got my full set and was capable of soloing GR 45 within 2 days of being level 70.
Btw, one of the biggest steps in getting real damage with the monk (actually, with every class) is to get critical (both chance and dmg).
So start by getting a weapon with socket, and add the highest emerald you have (And for most of build, monks doublewield 1handed weapons, so thats +200 critical damage). Also get critical chance in hands, bracers, helm and rings.
And for monks, the current meta is the exploding palm monk, so start gathering the uliana's set :B
Im not the best monk in the world but i can do pretty decent, currently doing 57 Grifts.
The builds you see on the sight tend to 100% require at least the set pieces, and often times additional pieces to be worth anything. Generally, you gear according to what legendaries you have.
Quick rule of thumb - 1-2 supporting legendaries for 1 skill (For Barb, things like Bracers of the First Man and Gavel of Judgement, theres numerous other examples)=T2-3, 2 set piece+1-2 supporting legendaries (Monk, 2 piece Innas+Crudest Boots)=T3-T4. Once you get a 4 piece+supporting legendaries, you can move up to T6 (For a Barb, I've found that getting 4 piece IK+Bracers of the First Man allowed me to do T6 easily).
For your monk, theres only 3 sets to go for - Inna's Mantra requires Monkey King's garb to really shine, so I would not recommend going for it. Ulliana's is strong just with the basic set, it has numerous supporting legendaries so you can get up to TX with all of them, its only problem is that it lacks
Currently, with the double bounty bonus, I would STRONGLY suggest running Bounties, and nothing BUT bounties for the weekend, as you get double blood shards (making Bounties just as good as rifts currently for Blood Shard collection), double mats (VERY useful, especially when you get into the reforging portion of gearing), all the legendaries (Also useful), ect, ect.
Use Kunai's Kube to acquire supporting legendaries, especially with the Diablos/Fist Weapons/Spirit Stones.

Link your profile, your doing alot of things wrong if capped at t1.
Gear is only > spec when u reach higher lvls.
Remember gear doesnt have to come from rifts alone.Using the cube recipe's can grant you the gear faster than rifts.
thats the next thing. i tried to get the cube a few times with different caracters but i dont get this thing. is there a good guide how to get him? on Youtube it doesnt seem too hard but i just dont find it.
