1) (Dwarf) Berserker - bringing back proper dual wield combat/equipment systems focusing on fast attacks, but also possibility of going into a 2handed death machine, kinda like Gotrek from Warhammer books. They could use runic weapons like axes designed just for them. Maybe a trip down memory lane with dual 2handers enabled? A character that could utilize vitality as it's main stat, however str would also be good.
2) Alchemist - (...)
3) Engineer (...)
4) Rogue - a melee oriented class utilizing poison and crits in a great way. Special daggers only for that class? I know monks are already fast and demon hunters kinda have the shadowy act about them but i feel like poison is a greatly underrated element that sticks only to witch doctors atm.
5) Druid / Necro / Amazon would be great too even in their old form from D2, fingers crossed
Overall i have many ideas and thoughts on that subject but i do think Blizzard rushed Diablo 3's release too much and packed the current classes with all kinds of things that aren't used to their full potential. I believe that even with a rework of the current classes u could bring twice as many classes with their own skillsets while still not breaking the ones we love atm. (...)
Yes, I think we all miss the Necromancer. WD is cool, but they did wrong in turn it into a necromancer substitute for D3. It has a potential to be a cool character indeed...
About the classes, i think you are thinking too much in a WoW mode. The berserker (besides the dwarf part, as doesn't exist dwarfs in Sanctuary) is basically a barbarian with 2 swords, as many are doing now with Bulkathos. Alchemist and Enginering would be great chars, in a MMORPG, where you would have time to craft some genial weps and potions, but at Diablo games, time is a factor hard to think about yet. Maybe at Diablo 4...
The rogue seems to be a very viable class, indeed. Something like the Assasin from D2 with the ability to become invisible to all and stab from shadows. Daggers, as spears, are very underestimated by players, just because they really don't offer a good option to play with most of time (and i'm not talking about the WD's ceremonial daggers).
Someone talked about a Mesmerizer, but with the new rules about CC, it would be just a joke to play with. A 100% CC oriented class will not compete at all with new rules coming in soon. But i would love to play with it. To me, best mages at RPG games are Seers and Enchanters.
A blood magus, stealing life from foes, creating blood golens and blood traps, and (most of all) with corpse explosion similar spell would be so great!!! Instead of firebolls, meteor, etc, it could have blood spells (phisical), roten (poison), infernal (fire) and celestial (sacred) as main dmg dealers. Conjure blood avatar would be their pet spell (as every class has its own). Runes would change the kind of avatar you can call for. Demon skin and Demon Hide sets could be reshaped to be a class especific set. Tyrael's might and Fire walkers too. Many possibilities.
Edit: Off-hand to blood magus would be something like Angel's feather, Demon tooth, Shard of Soulstone, Blood drop of Andariel/Duriel/Azmodan/Baal/Mephisto...
Druid whit wolf (dps) form/skill and bear form/skill for tanking like in d2. Whit other dps/tank skills... just maybe change these forms into buma and lion and call him beastmaster?
How about an evil entity? We have yet to see an evil looking character(necromancer) character as a possibility for D3. Like... a death knight kind of thing could be alright; big shadowy attacks, tanky possibilities, that kinda stuff. Or better yet, I think a full on healer like a priest or a cleric with big AoE heals, damage reduction spells and buffs could be an alright class as well. It'd certainly be interesting, and might fit in nicely with the new meta. What do you guys think?

I would love a fallen angel class or some sort of converted-to-good-guy demon melee class.
Like ... to be able to summon your own demon army or have a channeling spell that will give you a similar spell as the demon you channel it on (...)
Diablo franchising isnt about inhuman role actting... its all all about humanity and his destiny to preserve their freedon from Hell and Heaven intervention, evem more at D3... But they are great ideas to Heroes of storm, where you can play with Diablo and Tyrael...
I'd like to see something like a WoW Shaman. It could have a mix of ranged elemental-only (Lightning/Fire/Ice/Arcane) attacks and elemental melee (same as ranged except with Physical, but no Arcane).
you could limit it to 2 sets - one for a Dexterity melee build that enhances survivability and attack speed (tank/support/dps), and one for an Intelligence ranged build that focuses on doing as much damage as possible (pure dps).
weapon pool could be limited to 8-12 unique legendary weapons with class specific affixes (4-6 ranged int weapons, 4-6 melee dex weapons) and just include other existing weapon types to what they can equip (fist weapons/daibos/staves/1h maces, swords, daggers).
The question is whether a thief/rogue would result in sufficiently diverse play style from a Monk. (There's no doubt Monk is different from Thief/Rogue lore-wise.) One could argue that punching something really fast with your fists is mechanically similar to stabbing something really fast with your daggers.
While I think there are ways to differentiate Monk and Rogue/Thief, my guess is that Blizzard would start with the most unique concept (relative to the other available classes) and go from there. At first glance, Druid seems like the obvious choice. But whether something like Druid Shapeshifting is sufficiently different from Archon or Akarat's Champion is definitely up for debate IMO.
Necromancer or Druid and im done with my life for foreseeable future..

Oh btw cant resist to point out that most of the ideas above are really bad/out of place.
How much you people know about Sanctuary ? (Anything not being Nephalem, or Engineer in a world with early-medieval technology....)
Have you ever played D2? ( If you DONT want to see Druid, Amazon or Necro back, you obviously havent)
Do you have WOW minimized even now? (Rogue, Warlock etc)
but yeah.. we need something more twisted than Rain of Vengeance, Tower of Zombies, Zombie polar bears running circles around a kuru-stricken grandpa, <insert more ridiculous D3 skills here>

Druid based class, Shapeshifter or Earthlock

I think it should be an amazon druid because amazons had javelin throws and druids are shape shifters both thing are not in D3.
warlock is another name for witch docter.
Some kind of demonologist casting black magic, calling demons and being possessed by dark forces.
Mixing:
wd
one or two summons with limited time.
Barbs
Becoming possessed by some ancient dark force.
wiz
Spells with all elements to disrupt the demon's faith. (ex: grow a demon that explode and expel acid from your belly)
Edit: Introduce a new weapom type, scyths.

i would love the amazone back so that i can try a javazone playstyle again..
Drood. ORRRRRR if you twist my arm, a poison / arcane / cold / physical assassin / ninja hybrid.
But still, Drood.
