My question is how many yards wide is the viewing screen.
My comment is the difference between radius and diameter. Radius is the distance from a central point outward. Diameter is the circle edge to edge distance.
When I use a skill with a 15 yard radius this means the effect has a diameter of 30 yards (diameter = radius X 2). When I cast this I see it covering maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of the viewing window. This would imply the screen is 90-120 yards wide which is highly unlikely.
So back to my question; how wide (in yards) is the viewing window?
Why does it seem radius is confused with diameter?
I realize this is a pretty nit picky and irrelevant to many but I truly am curious.
The units of measurement in d3 are completely off, or the characters are giants.
As a rule of thumb, the character is roughly 10 yards tall. The "yards" used in d3 are closer to feet in reality.
Once you get used to being a giant or that a d3-yard has nothing to do with irl-yard, there is nothing wrong or bugged about it, however. No mixups of radius or diameters.
Howdy;
Many skills have a radius in yards component.
I have one question and then a comment.

Question for mods; Why the heck can't people post IMG links here anymore and have them appear in the post?
