Made this post because I know that the event is far away, but let's please continue with this thread as time passes by. Then use this thread to combine all the questions that we posted and players who go to Blizzcon can make d3 better as a whole.
Some of my burning desire questions for them (note might change before) are:
1.) Why are crusader sets so limited other than the rest of the classes,
2.) Why is monster progression so low in higher acts 2-5 for grifts.
3.) Why is greater rift density still so low in greater rifts.
4.) How come rift guardians are unbalanced in terms of damage output, health and unfair affixes. Orlash, Blighter, Bloodmaw, Voracity are big offenders.
5.) Clan trading should be an important factor in terms of trading, what i'm saying is, if you have a wh yourself that's good than the one you found, why not give it to your clan members who doesn't have one when not in a party and continue this chain of effect. It should be player's fairness that gives the clan members appreciation and respect by giving items you found in single player to them, not limit trading and make items harder for them to find.
6.) Why are crusader's wrath generators very low and spenders so high whilst dealing little damage.
7.) Exactly why 4pce set items (except sunwokos) are not strong enough than the 6pce ones.
8.) How come there are no changes to akkhans set?
9.) Why is endgame content still limited.
10.) When are new builds going to be introduced?
11.) Why are uber keys at 50% drop rate in t6 rather than mp10 100%
12.) Why does it take luck to craft a good hellfire amulet. Note: I crafted a good one after 105 tries on my crusader.
13.) Why are grift trials still implemented?
14.) Why are ultra rare items that are harder to find do not have a guaranteed affix.
15.) Why is pet survivability still low.
16.) Why is firebirds set underpowered than delseres or tal rashas. they kept the 6pce bonus without increasing the dmg.
17.) Why is exp from bounties and story mode low.
18.) When are legendary gems going to have another higher level for more incentive to play grifts.
19.) When are you going to introduce useful gold sinks that use our Royal gems etc that gives us rewards.
20.) Why do you not introduce better map layouts in grifts for more variety.
21.) How come fps issues and disconnections are still prevalent.
22.) Why are items that are ultra rare not reflected in their affixes and rarity such as rimeheart.
23.) When are more quality of life improvements going to be improved.
24.) Why isn't helltooth and wall of zombies set being reworked.
25.) Why are the PTR servers unstable.
26.) Why are underpowered skills for each class not being tweaked.
27.) Why are final good skills like archon and vengeance still underpowered having high cooldowns and low duration.
28.) Why are normal rifts mob density so low in order to get Speed Demon as a conquest.
29.) For future seasons, what is your intention on giving us story mode in order to unlock adventure. We should be quick
and efficient in levelling up to 70, not limit us in terms of progression.
30.) Why are we limited to a total of 5 communities.
31.) Why do we have to leave game and party for public games when in a full party.
32.) When for lower levels 61-70, why are materials that are savaged limited (1 veiled crystal for each rare) for them to
enchant.
33.) Group play have rewards, how come solo play is not considered in terms of some type of reward factor.
34.) Why is there a member limit in the clan.
35.) In terms of player interaction with the developers, why not consider giving us more opportunites for us to ask you questions such as Tavern talks, and play your way days.
If I missed anything, post away. Lets keep this thread going if able
I dunno most of the questions are something Blizzard are aware of like bad build,UP sets, etc. I think the better questions would be be something related to what they will announce at Blizzcon.
Most of these questions can be answered by three letters: RNG.
Blizzard has always stated that they want to keep the random element in the game. I agree that sometimes it's too much like in GR, teddy bear rifts are totally ridiculous in relation to a rift with a million anarchs, exarchs, archers, exorcists, etc...
Anyway, you can combine many of these questions into a few. Try to summarize a bit because a lot of the questions are kind of repeating the same stuff and will most likely get a very similar answer if they were to be asked in the Blizzcon QnA panel.
I have some questions as well, but first I'm gonna answer some of your questions because many of those have been addressed before:
1+6+8) It's not like all classes have mindblowingly awesome sets compared to the Crusader. In 2.2 you've got Roland's as a nice alternative to Akkhan's, so they are working on it. (I play all classes and don't think the Crusader is in a particularly bad spot).
5) Josh Mosqueira himself has answered this over and over again already: There will be no more trading, specifically no clan trading. Period.
9) What do you mean by that? "Endgame" is the "long grind for better .1% items". That's Diablo endgame, has always been.
10) With 2.2 there are plenty of new builds. Blizzard does not introduce new builds - the players do, Blizzard only facilitates those new builds.
11+12): They already said they're making no changes to the Hellfire/uber events. Why does it take luck? Because this is a heavily RNG-based game ;-)
14) Don't get that - all items that have increased rarity have a special legendary affix (though some need to be reworked, like Rimeheart).
15+16) This is simple balancing that is still worked on as we speak on PTR. You should ask this on the PTR forums :-)
19) You can't have any gold sink, because the gap in how much gold players have is too large. Many players have dozens of billions of gold (like 50b+), some only a few hundred million. How would you balance any "gold sink" to not become another power creep for the super rich players? I think gold is dead and should remain a useless entity in this game, otherwise it would increase the gap in the playerbase even further.
20) They're working on it, see PTR.
21) The new CASC format on PTR significantly improved this, so consider this to "be worked on".
22) They're working on this, see the massive changes on PTR. Rimeheart will be revisited at some point, I'm sure about that; at the moment there are just too many other changes. One at a time.
23) Well that's a generic question :-) The answer is: "constantly". You need to ask about specifics to get a quality answer here. They're constantly working on quality of life changes, though in baby steps.
24) Because the patch is not finished and they will eventually rework those sets, just be patient ;-)
25) Because they only have limited resources available for the PTR servers. Wait for the 2000% buff to go away, then testing is actually fine, it's just the buff that makes too many people log on to PTR.
26+27) They are... sooo many changes on PTR. They're working on this.
33) You notice that you *need* to play solo in order to get the new bloodshard increase in 2.2? As someone who has no interest in solo play and almost exclusively plays in groups, I have the opposite question - why am I forced to get a solo achievement (high GR) to get my bloodshard limit increased
34) Server performance reasons - for larger groups there are communities. The clan limit was actually higher on RoS PTR, I guess they figured that 150 is the sweep spot.
35) But... but... but... they already all those and plenty more? They answer on Reddit, Twitter, PYW streams, Tavern Talks, Blizzcon, interviews here and there, and on the official forums. At some point the devs also have to... develop ;-) They can't talk to us 24/7, and I think overall the communication is okay. If I have one complaint it's that sometimes they say "no" to community inquires for so long (identify all button, AH removal, Conduit fix, difficulty scaling, legendary affixes on old legendaries, ...) only to change their mind and implement it one year later just the way the community asked. To this end, it's only a matter of time before they finally remove trials... I hope so, at least.
Sorry for the lengthy reply to your questions - but for most of them the answer is "they're working on it as we speak on PTR". I feel that questions at Blizzcon should be those that have not been sufficiently answered or addressed yet, or questions they always dodge.
I second those of your questions:
2-4) GR balancing questions - yep, also interested in those.
13) Yeah... trials need to go. At this point, progress in Greater Rifts is only limited to your performance in trials - that's just wrong.
More specifically in terms of balance, I wonder if they have plans to work on the RNG in Greater Rifts again. When you're working on raising your personal best, there's just this one level that will easily get you 2-5 levels higher because it's so ridiculously easy (cuddle bear/pony rift), but it's the 1% rift. At a certain point, especially in 2 player, it's just "open rift, check if it's Whimseyshire mobs, if not leave". I agree with the devs that a bit of RNG is nice, but that's just too much. Same for pylons (Power Pylon on Rift Guardian is going to be an absolute necessity for high leaderboard rankings) and rift guardians, as you already mentioned (while some are rather difficult, to me the real issue is Stone Singer because he's just a joke). If a rift guardian takes you 3 minutes, Stonesinger+Power just means it'll take you 30 seconds. That gap is too much and in the end is similar to the Conduit Pylon hunting in pre-2.1.2 (and needs to be addressed). It's already the case again in season 2 (where you're looking for Stonesinger+Channeling).
Trials are also really really important to address. I'm sad that there's absolutely no improvement to them on PTR. Your trial performance has only very little to do with GR performance; it needs other gear and skills, is unrewarding because no loot and little XP, and has still way too much RNG involved. As a quick fix, give us 5 keys for each trial so we don't spend hours in there. In the long run they just *need to go*. Travis Day already brought up that trials are a problem half a year ago, yet they're still there and remain a problem bigger than before.
Last but not least... Blizzcon is in November. I want those two main issues addressed *before* Blizzcon. If we get the answer to those in Blizzcon we will only see the change in one year from now - which is way too late :-)
Bagstone, thanks for your post. I will attempt to answer some of the questions you've addressed.
9.) What I mean in terms of endgame is like similar to adventure mode where you had greater rifts, nephalem rifts and bounties etc. Note i made this thread way later in the night, For instance, lets have some multiplayer events that were suggested by other players. I was thinking about posts that were inspired using capture the flag. And maybe the idea of having runes that was made by another person if you know what I mean.
5.) Guess that was an oversight but it would be nice to have if they implemented it.
6.) In terms of crusader generators, I thought that they were low by how it only gave 5 wrath when you had a total of 100 in your wrathpool compared to the other generator classes. But now as I thought about it, I think its a balance.
19.) I remember the developers saying how they were going to have some good use for higher types of gems since we think that having too many imperials are kind of underwhelming since they don't do anything.
33.) I too also knew that there were 10 shards per solo rank. That is attributed towards solo play rewards, whilst this is a good change, I still think that we could have more reward opportunities such as if reaching 50, you would have the chance of turning a normal legendary into an ancient one by urshi. Think of it as an upgrade.
As a player myself, I know also that there are improvements being made in the game. I know over time that the developers will at some point address these issues especially the trials. Note, that this thread is an in progress, so there will be so much more time when Blizzcon arrives. What my intention for this thread is from my experiences, I haven't seen any questions that are related to my first post. I felt that as a whole, they answered the general questions rather than delving deeper and answering trials. I even made a post about trials quite a while where I posted pictures of sand dweller's health comparison to wave 47 and 51, that gives 44 and 48 keys respectfully.
I think everyone has different opinions what good and bad questions are for a meeting like Blizzcon. To me, the biggest waste of time at last year's Blizzcon were the following two questions: "I'm still using my level 60 Witching Hour and can't find a better belt to replace it with; are you doing anything about this?" and "What happens with all my stashes and characters on season after season ends and they're being rolled over to non-season?".
I understand that "there are no stupid questions" and not everyone is always up-to-date with everything regarding the game. And I'm totally fine with those questions popping up every week here, we're a open community and everyone's welcome. But if someone spends about a thousand bucks (ticket, flight, hotel, expenses) to go to a unique meeting with the developers of a game I'd appreciate if they'd know the very basics of said game (the "season ending" question was answered in no less than ten blueposts)... because there's only soooo limited time for questions and I felt so devastated that they wasted valuable time explaining that there's a Witching Hour at level 70 and explaining exactly what had been published in a D3 frontpage post briefly beforehand.
On the other hand, I'm fully aware the game is focused around casual gameplay and endgame balancing questions aren't of particular interest to 99% of the players, so I'm not expecting too much with regard to those questions at Blizzcon. They already said in previous Tavern Talks that that's not the focus of the game at this point, so... I guess we have to wait until other points have been addressed first. That being said: the trial discussion is of interest to everyone, I believe, especially with the new focus on solo player in 2.2. Many people who do not have access to high-level trial groups will struggle a lot to get their high leaderboard ranking they deserve, which is why I think that trials are becoming an issue for all players across the board in the near future.
In my opinion, I think that we would be more likely to have a new expac considering how much time there was between a gap of around a year and a half when vanilla was released in May 2012 and the RoS was introduced in August 2013.
It's too bad that some of the questions that are directed in the forum specifically trials, might be fixed when the expac is released. But who knows, I think that they will fix all of them beforehand.
Edit: The questions I've colour coded are ones that we've already answered, so theres no need to ask them. They will be in green text.

i agree with jamoose, also there are a lot of questions wich will just be plain wrong when asked at blizzcon.
e.g. the 4 set piece question.
their plan is to remove all 4 piece sets. and upgrade them to 6piece.
and also RNG
