Hey guys, today I want to show you a bug that results in a permanent death - with no rez timer - in greater rifts. While I can't pinpoint the exact reason, I suspect it has something to do with using double Unity + Hillenbrand's Training Sword (50% cooldown Templar relic). This is the only unconventional gear I've been using simply because I haven't found an immortal relic yet. Enjoy and let me know if you've encountered something similar!

for me it wasnt fire chain it was orbiter it was pretty much i revive and instantly died right after with my dh, because i wasnt paying attention and was watching tv so i also didn;t really see what i really did differently. I was in a 4 man group doing bounty and just escaping the game gave me the 10secs to log out and when i logged back into the game it was fine
I have had this happen to me three separate times. Each time I was extremely low health and either used my potion or hit a healing well the same instant I died. It's my belief that anything that would heal you happening at the same time as death damage is taken results in this.
Obviously I have no way to prove it, simply a conclusion based on my personal observations. It is also possible that there is more than one potential trigger for this bug.

Yea, it's possible the Templar 'auto heal' hit the same time I died. The double Unity damage split may have evened out the damage to the point where both things happened at the same time, causing a glitch. Just a thought though...

Why would you ever use unity without immortal relic? You'll most likely end up taking more damage than without it..
Also when I die I only get a back to menu button so idk about thatkappa.
