Hey guys, i am new to the forum, and i am using the DW WW/tornado build~
i read that the damage and life on hit caused by tornado depends on your mainhand weapon, mainstats & crit damage from offhand weapon. So does that mean LOH on offhand only procs when I do WW and if I do most of my dmg by tornado instead of WW, I can just go for an offhand weapon with no LOH but high stats (str/vit) and crit dmg?
Also, does that mean my tornado will not proc life steal if I have life steal on my offhand weapon?
LoH is a global stat, it doesn't matter how you get it. Different abilities have different coefficients for proc'ing loh though...
The sprint tornadoes are a bit odd because they use the damage range from your mainhand but the attack speed of whichever weapon was last to swing, or at least that's what I've heard many say. Because of that, you want a high damage mainhand and a fast offhand that will boost your mainhand stats, and your offhand should be your main source of loh. If you can afford it then you still want high dps on the offhand but it's less important than having good mainhand damage.
