Ok I whats the best item you found in the strangest place while playing diablo.

I was rushing my brother in normal. I killed diablo and got Tals ammy. Now I found that in normal I didn't think normal diablo's lvl was that high.

was nm rushing a friend hardcore with my mf sorc who had been mfin all day and found nothing...anyways random people were droppin good stuff during rush...
andy dropped tal amy....duriel dropped a res all 6 lrg charm.....hephasto the armor droped an occy izzy dropped a pul rune and diablo dropped a sweet act 2 merc wpn which i used 4 ever and that about sums it up

i started a new char not too long ago, and in the first time i was in the cold plains, the monsters dropped four! set items total. just in one area.

with my level42 mf sorc, i was tryin to help these 2kids askin for help to kill high councils then meph n ask for wp's later....then yeah i did the job...
the councils dropped sigon helm n some yellow items, pots, gold, etc.
then now this kid ask me "what kind of helm is that?" i said it's a LORE(runeword) hat,he thought i'm wearin a shako and i said "i wish dude...i wish" so yeah they ask for mephy! then took me couple few tele's there n opened a tp for them n told them "it's up!".... so yeah we gather near the tp n i began my attack...took me few FB's then meph hit the floor n press ALT n i'm like WTF?!?...a unique brown colored hat sayin "shako" flashed as the kids tryin to pick it up but they can't their inventory was full of items already so i grabbed it n ID it n wooooaalllaa! a 89def shako!

they asked if they can have it but i'm like "i'm sorry dude but i said i wish i got a shako" now i got even thu it's low def n it's like a payment from the work i gave u....n they agree bout it....my "FB" sorc still wear it.

SHAKO has an item leval of 69....normle mephisto has a monster leval of 26....it would be impossible 4 normle or even nm meph to drop a shako..another thing min def on shako starts at 98 so theres no way u found a 89 one at all

Yesterday while I was doing key runs, Nit dropped 2 d keys at the same time.. I was like WTF, it takes 15 runs just to get 1(thats with my luck :p) and I got 2.

Yea when I do key runs, I do about 30 straight runs before I have a full set(3 of each key), I usually end up with more t and h keys because they drop faster then d key.

i play hardcore and my 80 sorc died few days ago soo ive been havin to build an army with my summin nec to run the tower each time..but in good time ill get me an enigma and just tele it..
does mf have a factor on key drops....?

i dont think it does but im just double checking

I have no idea. My lighting sorc is pushing about 250 mf, any more would be sacrificing resists and +skills. But I would think the keys are like runes.

Lol i hate that. You see the word key and get happy but when you look the Terror or Hate and not see it there it kills your self esteem.

nope... mf doesnt matter and i belive key drop is 1 in 30 but ive gotten 8 d keys in like 10 runs 2 runs droped 2 keys lol

gheeds can only drop in hell i thought....anyways summinor droped 2 heys of hate 4 me yesterday in 1 run...then wat do i go and do..thats right i say u know im gonna try to hell baal and gain a leval....first game im in everyone partys up and im all chillin in act 5 to c if anyones gonna get pked...few min go by all looks good so i go through within 5 seconds pked by arrows....leval 84 summin necro rest in peace..u will be missed

Like I said thats why I hate hardcore...To many people cheat and they don't fight you right. They fight like pussies using hacks and cheats just to kill people...I hope blizzard deletes/bans their cd keys.

Yea, I felt so betrayed by b.net when 3 of my chars got tppked when that damn hack first came out. After that I just quit HC. You can only play solo or with close friends. I play by myself for a while using two comps. One was to pick up my body if I died.

I was with a friend doing malus Q in hell, and i was telling him i would love to have a shako for my necro.
i swear to god, the next random monster we killed dropped it, it just blew my mind.

my char is a sorc with very high mf so i was rushing diablo in nightmare for a friend and i sware i didnt think that i would find so great items there : tal rasha mask, a unique armor and a shield i never seen before likewise unique as the armor but the strange thing was
that i played in hell all day killing baal an i didnt find even close what i got on killing diablo on nightmare

and maybe this will sound strange but i made a whole aldur set by just killing some monsters in hell act 3 and it was a verry good lvl that set

thats because the monsters in hell ca drop a lot more than in nightmare. unfortunantly, this means they drop way more crap too :)

Yep...I just recently found a shako from hell high coucil with about 120% mf too. :D Item levels and monster levels have a big impact on the items you are trying to find.

Well I would have to say the wierdest thing ever happened to me. i was in the den of evil in hell doing skill quests with my level 5 (bugged) had friend wit me) and so i get the last hit on a zombie and BOOM i get a vex rune it was awesome! had a few more lucky ones. soj in normal cows(died for it kinda funny). ive also gotten 2 keys at nihilitahk and summoner and countess though its not toally uncommon. im a lucky kid i guess!:cool:

Hey bballsuperman or sk8rlyfe4522 :D well we play on all modes pretty much. Lord Silver plays on Hardcore most of the time, some of us play on non ladder, most of us play ladder. There are also a few here whom just play single player.

i am cursed with finding only useless gcs^^. i cube my own in sp, but closed.net is totally different. so far i found 2 druid summon gcs, 3 defensive pally gcs, and 3 necromancer curse gcs. usually i get so feed up with them i give them away for free :)

I once found a 20pdsc that had a level requirment of 70. I dont know why it was set so high, it was the only mod on it. Maybe it was a glitch in the drop or something.

thats because the monsters in hell ca drop a lot more than in nightmare. unfortunantly, this means they drop way more crap too :)
i do not totaly agree with you, sure set and unique item drops are forced a bit back with all the so called crap:) , but i always search trough the crap for superior or eth items with or without sockets (when without use formulas to create sockets, be adviced though it doesnt work on superior items).
also some rares that drop arent that bad (if your really lucky they are godly, and can even be better than most uniques or sets or even runewords;) )

i think this is very strange....killing mephi normal and she semmed to drop perf bonehew to my suprise i was the only 1 to grab it first and..well thats all..:)..my merc erally enjoys using it:)

When 1.10 patch came out the first day, I ran home from school, downloaded the patch, and wanted to MF to get the new items that were released with the patch. On my very first meph run I got a vex rune, but at the time Blizzard hadn't revealed any of the new runewords. So I ended up trading it for a rainbow facet and spiderweb sash...which turned out to be not so bad

I found a Gull in normal once by the cairn stones.
I found a Ber rune in a barrel near Countess.
Had 5 people fight for a shako after baal, noone could pick it up, noone had room lol.

lol ya ive seen people fight for items...everyones full after a hell baal drop and sitting onthe floor is a shako or somthing, items bouncing on the floor and everyone scrambling to drop items from their inventory to get it

Also, I was walking around a cow game that was already done and I found a stormshield on the ground...I guess no one picked it up
