so far ive only found proof that there wont be a blizzcon. i am not at home so i can post the links yet. if anyone has anything proving there will be a convention this year please post it please.

thats what i read. i think that blizzard might try to surprise us by leaking out news or trailers. blizzcon was the most likely place they would present the new expansion and announce diablo 3 but i guess they are too hurried up with the expansion they simply dont have the time or people to do blizzcon. ironic thing is that they have endless pockets. their wallet is like a dark hole from which they pull out money like it grows on trees. you would think that they can at least do something for everyone, not just warcraft. but on the other hand they might not have anything for diablo 3 or starcraft 2 ready so i guess i have no real opinion.

its just that blizzard has done so much for us that i feel sometimes we take it for granted. it revolutionized the way we game and set our standards higher for the entire industry. i think you should take the time to pat blizzard on the back for doing all this in like 20 years.

They could very well have a BlizzCon BEFORE E3 next year - they never said it was fixed to always be in October.

i think it would make more sense from november through january because in colder places its blizzard season isnt it?? it would just have more fun in the concept. yea i think that would be cool. after all, it isnt too late to announce it!!

yeah, but if its in october, then ppl get hyped about it and can get it for christmas, or hanukka or whatever. if they release it too late, they cant tweak games, and there might not be enough time for some poor souls to get it cuz theyre parents dispiese pc games and they cant save up money.plus it might create bottlenecks in the delivery system, like on-base in germany. but on the other hand, id rather it be november this year than october next year O.o

i meant the announcement of diablo 3. i dont think they would surprise us and release it for this christmas. i would just like to be informed around christmas that it IS in progress. please blizzard just tell us its in production and stop trying to hide it. should you announce it and tell people it will come out next year you will find thousands of gamers who will stop buying all other games to wait for it.

can you imagine how many people would buy this game in the US alone?? at the moment there are 41452 people playing the expansion. the expansion alone!!! i have heard many people saying they played the first and didnt attempt the second and are waiting for the third. 41452 people playing it at any given time at any given day is a whole lot.

imagine getting those loyal, those curious, and those who were convinced into buying the game. Millions would buy it. hopefully it continues as it has with free online gameplay, but if it comes to paying for it hell im willing to pay the necessary.

bill gates is a personal friend of mine. i just thought that he would get higher priorities than i would. also he can make alliances with blizzard that would spell even more money for both. bill gates is a very powerful man.

Hmm this may have already been said but, E3 has been cancelled due to the fact that more game companys like to hold their own conventions so they can show off there own games, example:blizzard=blizzcon. Since theyre may not be a blizzcon, our hopes now lie in TGS, (Tokeyo Game Show) its the same as E3, just in Japan.

E3 isn't definitely cancelled, it was supposed to go on in a smaller form, and I heard some other company could take over it and make it similar to the way it used to be.

well i hate the whole politically correct stuff. what it all boils down to is political correctness. people should stop being afraid of jerks and let the party be what it is. after all, it isn't a public event because you have to pay to go there (i think). let people have fun because that will get you more people and larger following guaranteeing you more money.

all this stupidity is exactly why i get into politics. the right wants to be more conservative yet the left promotes immorality (bill clinton) and duplicity. either way our society is being pulled in two. i respect that private events can have their own rules and can have their fun as long as it doesnt become immoral. last year's e3 was fun, it wasnt too "demoralizing to women" and was overall a convention that was enjoyed by many. the rules that had been established for that one should be renewed for the next one.
