What do people usually do when they lose something?
They go and look for it. Can't find it. Get really pissed off. And then accept that they they lost it and go get a new one.
But what if you lost a best friend?
What would you do then?
Let me hear your opinions on what you would do if you lost a best friend cause I just don't know what to do anymore.

The only thing to do is look to the future..I mean if you linger on the past it only makes things worse. Different people take more time then other to heal emontionally, but you will eventually accept what happened. Once you do that then you will be able to move on with your life. Just make sure you have people close to you helping you through tough times, this always helps.

dude i know how you feel. to make it worse i moved afterwards to a new place making it hard to surround myself with friends. my advice is to just accept it. take an hour to release the sadness and grief, the confusion and mixed emotions and remember that person for who he/she was. remember the good times and the stuff that person did to change you. i am not religious so it was somewhat harder for me so if you are religious you can talk to those of your faith. it doesnt even matter if you know the person. i do not like crying and it takes alot to admit that i did but it was only once. let it all out and continue on with your life. just make sure to remember it.

for all of you others reading this take time to use this advise either for past or future events. it definately worked for me. once again take advantage of those of your faith because they are people that will understand you and what your going through. i unfortunately do not believe in a higher power which alone alienates me from many people who do. do not judge me by my beliefs but by my advise and the content of my character.

one thing there is to remember though, some people have little to no freinds at all... when i moved germany a few months ago I left half my school class without even saying goodbye... i coulnt even cry... even when i had to leave my father there. i suppose i dont get attached to material things or other people for that exact reason. i dont care if you call me a pessimist...its just my way of sorting things out
and carloseus is right, religion does help... carloseus, it sounds as if you acctually want to become religious. why dont you just do it?

no offense to those that believe in something, this is just a direct answer to katael. i realized after a point that i wanted to do the right things just because i wanted to and not because my soul would face eternal damnation for not doing it. also when i did try praying for happiness or help for stuff i got no answer. i feel very silly doing it. then i realized that only i have an influence in my life. to me, only i am responsible for me and i will work my hardest to do the right things because i want and not a higher power will punish me.

the reason i agree with religion though is that i know what it can do for people. i once saw a person give another person a car full of food because of what his religion taught him. i am in no way saying anything bad about religion just that i dont personally believe in anything but my ability and the goodness of people.

so please take to heart what i have said because i dont like to expose my more personal opinions. last time it happened i got kicked out by people that had no respect for my views and i was most literally removed of nearly all my friends. (i grew up in a hispanic community) i am hispanic and was shunned from most of my school. some of the teachers presented hostility towards me and everyone picked on me. then my friend passed away, he was randomly attacked by a gang for being a "traitor". then i moved away and well you know the rest......

do not dwell in the past... i to have lost 2 of my good friends to a car accident last year, yes its sad but i don like to think of the bad stuff just the good
many people wonder what thier life would be like if they could have changed something years ago... the smart dont wonder they change it now

thats the brilliant thing of being able to post things online: you can voice your opinions without anyone being able to do anything to you... if i say something just plain stupid, you guys could all critisise me all i need to do is delete my account and ill never hear from you again and youll never hear from me again... there is still always someone worse of than yourself though, when i was about 10 a freind of mine lost his parents, sister and aunt in a car accident... he was sleeping in the car at the same time and survived with heavy injuries... lifes though

there is nothing wrong with mourning as long as you dont do it too much. like i said just let it all go and then you'll be able to move on much more easier. life is tough and you have to be tougher. in all, i think that what im trying to say is that i somehow for a strange reason do feel your pain and hope you will get over it. dont put your life on hold because that's not what she would have wanted.

yes... i know what you feel man, i lost a loved person like 3 months ago, but dont feel bad, think in your future, life is good, be happy.... remember "tomorrow begins today" and "today is your turn to be happy"....
