I'm excited for this album. Is it going to be like Valley of the Damned? Sonic Firestorm? Or maybe Sonic Firestorm #2 (by that I mean Inhuman Rampage)?
EDIT: Nope, not like any of them, it's very different is most ways, the same in some. It's still fast, and hardcore, but lots of things have changed still, and the feel is different.

EDIT (Aug 23): The track listing is wrong, I copied from some place that was wrong and never noticed, I'll fix it later.
EDIT (Aug 24): Editing track list, is now correct. Also put in the bonus tracks, and all the song times, and edited the "is it going to be like" paragraph.

Ultra Beatdown? Sounds like an R&B top 50 collection. But I think musically, the album is something worth waiting for. I'm also being patient with the release of Time by Wintersun.

Most people think fantasy song titles and fantasy lyrics is gay and uhh cheesy? But I actually like it. Ultra Beatdown is just... weird. But it's probably a joke. DragonForce has a good sense of humor. Watch their rockumentray :P since people think they're so cheesy and gay they made the album title look purposely gay. I mean, I'm neutral against it myself.

Anyway, I used to be a die-hard fan of metal, but now my interests have spread to techno, trance, dance, and a bit of acid. Under the metal genre, my favorite would have to be Kreator. They cease to amaze me, and opposite other artists, continue to get better.

I like them regardless of being fast. I like Valley of the Damned too, and that isn't really fast. If they slowed down TTFAF and OGAP a bit I'd still listen :P I just like their instruments and vocalists and how they choose to make their songs.

The new album is gonna be basically like IR but still very good.

I saw them live a few days ago and they were fantastic. They played Revolution Deathsquad, Operation Ground and Pound, Heroes of Our Time, Vally of the Damned, and Through the Fire and Flames.

yeah, I wasn't sure if I could talk about leaks here so I tried to make my phrasing less conspicuous. Anyways I have heard it and IMO its a more diverse version of IR. I am loving it.

- It has more breaks
- It sounds more happy (even Fred Leclercq says that's what they were going for in an interview at Mayhem Fest)
- They use a lot of extra sounds in the background
- Few other things

And because of all of those, the feel is way different (mainly because of the happyness type of thing going on) from IR on Heroes of Our Time and other songs. And the feel is a real big part of the song. If it's way different, it can't be like something else. But uhh *cough* most likely only TRUE DragonForce fans (me) would realize this.

Anyways, that's just my opinion which SHOULD be a fact, but oh well. At least you like it, good on you. ^.^
