It has come to my attention that recently there was a 6 page flame thread about Battleforums.com, in which you said things such as "We know more about the diablo franchise than them" and "everything posted there is crap"

I'm the moderator of said Diablo III boards over at Battleforums.com. I find it hillarious that you guys claim to know more about Diablo III, when fact is; nothing has ever been mentioned about it, other than the fact they didn't deny working on it.

Do we have some retarded members? Sure we do, as I'm sure you guys do. In fact, being the moderator of that specific forum gives me headaches having to read through some of the suggestions and such that have been given. But it's all in fun and games, right?

Though, trust me on this, there are a majority of our Diablo II members that would rock every single one of you when it came to knowledge about the Diablo franchise. Myself included. You guys think you're all high and mighty, and think that it's cool to bash on one of your affiliates (granted we wern't affiliated at the time) don't ya? Chances are, you wouldn't last a week on battleforums.

Also, you have some small advantages when it comes to knowledge, you have a pool of membres about uhm, 25 times the size we do... second your an active community for years based on Diablo 2. We are a community of people that are looking for the next Diablo, majority of people which have stopped playing Diablo 2 and want a new one =) If we could postpone this fight say, 5 years, and have the fight about Diablo 3, then bring it on! hehe

ok maybe the thread was a little overboard, but as you said you yourself come across all the things i was complaining about and no i and many others here dont think we are that high and mighty as you put it, we know a lot about diablo but not everything, the thread probably should have phrased better, such as 'it seems we know more..' from what i read on that site some people should go back and watch the cinematics and read the texts found throughout the games and manuals, maybe if they had they would know the prime evils can exist without soulstones which they can, if one has watched the movies and read the texts they would know this. from the posts i read on battleforums it seemed like practically no one there knew this.

ok maybe the thread should have been done differently if at all, but on that site all i saw was a bunch of posts about having elves, dwarves, cyborgs, vampires, fairies and orcs as playable classes, stuff about the prime evils having a father, more posts about having elves and dwarves as playable chars, blzzard split from disneyland, more posts with elves, dwarves, cyborgs, vampires, fairies and orcs as playable classes. followed by several posts agreeing with them, it seems pretty stupid when every second thread about classes/races mentions elves and vampires, yeh they are cool, but races is just something diablo doesnt need to get into, they didnt in the first two, so why do it in the third (or any future sequels). races in diablo would suck. this is diablo not WOW or DND, what these races didnt exist in diablo 1 and 2. go play wow or DND if you want to play as another race, thats not what diablo is about

I already said that a large amount of the people that go to the d3 boards on BF have no real clue what they're talking about it, throw all that out and there are so VERY awesome ideas about how the game could be, how the storyline could be, what kinds of classes there could be.

In fact, I originally had planned on compiling all the class ideas and such to make a WC3 map that dealt with the storylines given from my own members. Could of been awesome, but I got lazy.

The information has been out there for quite a while, though collectively as a "evidence page" sort of thing, mine trumps yours by nearly two months.

I don't recall saying we have more info. In fact, I do recall saying that there is no info on the game. Rumors can't be facts chief, otherwise they're called facts. Are they logical rumors? Some are, some arn't. Charts? No. You have, basically, ripped word for word everything Blizzard has said about the Diablo Franchise in the recent months / year.
