FF 2, 3, and 7 are my personal favs as for char's wow too many good choices....Ummmm Cecil(bad ass black knight not that pussy pally) FF2 Sabin & Edgar FF3 and Tifa & Cloud from 7.....

FFX: Wakka, Auron, and Rikku

Wakka is the stupidest guy our of them all, it just makes him funny as hell^^
Auron Barret and Red are the typical warriortype badasses, its immposible to hate them. Rikku and Xell just looked awesome as characters. cloud is a whole story to himself thought:D

I don't have much of a choice, since I've only played X and X-2 (and X-2 is in no way better than X).
Everyone agrees that VII is the best, I will without a doubt get that when PS3 comes out. Playing a game for the first time when the graphics are out-dated is hard. But judging from the rewiews of XII, the last edition to the series may be the best. Haven't played it though.

Speaking of FF, is the music in X the best in the series? And if not, does that title also fall to VII?

the music from FFXwas indeed very good, i enjoyed listening to the different tunes they had to offer. any the first time i played the game, when every sequence was new, i was like: O.o holy shit, i mean, those graphics they, omg. well, i cant w8 to see awesome graphics of ps3 being aplied to a FF game^^

as to that ff XII (12) I am currently in the middle of it. So far the Story is good. The charector relationship is good and the game is fun and ever changing. I dont really like the Summinong Systems or Espers.. ( these are much like the limit breaks we all know and love) in 12 they could be better bt if u get decent at it u can chain together some long ass specials. ive had a couple total more then 2 1/2 to 3 min of pure whooping baddy ass.

i dont get to play it as much as i like but i do put a few hours in a week. like i said so far its not surpassing 7. But who knows how much longer i have of game play left. its on par to be 1 of my faves though

my friend took his copy to another friends house to play. he left without it, cuz we were playing it hardcore lol. i knida like FFXII, however, i have only played a short bit, and do not yet know the general picture of the whole story. i dont like people telling me before i beat it :)

ill get both, my other ps2 gave up on me. it passed away on the account of old age. and i got one of the first ones, which didnt read all the later games. it was gay, i bought tons of doubles just to make sure it wasnt the disc lol.

yes.....! it is a must. i had a d/l'ed version on my comp and was like 45 hours into it. Then it decides to freeze at the same spot everytime. never did fix it it made me sad as i wanted to beat one of my all time faves again.

they have a few sequals/ side stories to it.. ff7 Cerebrous. ps2 game ..never did play it but i heard it wasnt that good..i know a few people on here played it maybe they can enlighten us.

They were going to make a PS3 remake of FFVII, but last I heard the project had been dropped. I think I read it on IGN, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, FFVII DoC was horrible... bad camera angles and all that band junk. Like a movie-to-game game. Made in twenty minutes, and BAM! pure shit.
