heard about this band a couple years back and just thought id share 3 songs that i like best from the band. they have some pretty good ones overall. also be sure not to judge them based on their costumes :P.

Well, this band seems quite boring. Not to mention that they need to take some composition lessons. And probably actually get good at playing their instruments. And get a singer with a range and who doesn't sound like he has a nose bleed.

Man, I would hate to see what they sound like live, that recorded version of "My Heaven is Your Hell" has errors with the tempo. Or at least that's what it sounds like, if they did it on purpose its just as bad.

Actually, I'll be a bit more frank with what I meant.. Eurovision sucks, and it's amazing that they actually recognized Lordi as a good band. For how suckish Eurovision is, that must mean that Lordi is REALLY good to get noticed by such idiots :P

I play French Horn, Trumpet, Violin, Piano and Guitar. Woot for me. Lordi still sucks ass, they are not a refreshing change in the least, unless you consider listening to someone whose nose is not functioning properly a refreshing change. If that's the case then I can punch myself in the nose and make some money.

No, that's not the case anymore. That was the case some time ago, but it isn't anymore. Do you really think every Trance idiot necessarily likes Trance? To speak more locally, literally 95% of the people who listen to Trance in Lebanon, and go to all the events are posers following the herd, and will quit listening to it when the next trend finds its way to Lebanon. It will pass, just like the Metal thing passed, just like the Goth thing passed, and just like the Devil worshiping bullshit passed. The posers where I live seem to listen to either Emo or Indie music. (Not that all indie music is bad though, Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys and Bloc Party are all acceptable bands in my opinion.)

I'd never heard of Lordi before yesterday, so I don't think Lordi is a big band in my area either.

Lordi seems to be pretty mainstream in Europe too, they are kind of hit and miss at this point with me, some of their song's are great and other's I can't sit through.

I think they have a lot of potential though.

My favourite lordi song is Biomechanic Man and it snows in hell.
As such lordi is not a bad group only their costumes and some songs become over the top!
