I'm looking for some more music to listen to. I'm always listening to music when I'm on the computer or sometimes when I'm playing video games..

So right now I've got all these bands in my playlist that I actually listen to. So I'm wondering if you guys could suggest some songs or bands based on what I listen to. If you wanna suggest a song you like by one of the bands I already have, it's possible I don't already have it or I just don't care for it much. But go ahead and suggest away.

I like almost anything.. but usually some sort of rock/metal. Usually no rap.. I like some rap.. such as the Flobots. I like rap/rock mixes as well, like in some Linkin Park songs.

Anything that has a great singer and rythym I'll like as well. I don't really care for bands that scream excessively either, sometimes it can be good. But normally I wouldn't listen to it.

Bands/Artists in my playlist:
-AC/DC
-Arrogant Worms
-Atreyu
-Alexisonfire
-Billy Talent
-Bon Jovi
-Linkin Park
-Flobots
-Buckethead

I see a lack of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, The Clash, Radiohead, Boston, Guns N' Roses, Muse, Queen or pretty much any Grunge.

All of those I highly recommend.

Pink Floyd's Money is actually one of the songs I always skip on that disc. Us and Them is easily the best track on that album.

Us and Them is easily the best track on that album.I actually am of the opinion that Money is far from the best Pink Floyd song, but it is the easiest for people to get into. So once they listen to Money, then they might try the rest of Pink Floyd's stuff and realize how awesome it is.

It's a really good song but a far incomplete depiction of Pink Floyd. It was probably the most accessible song on Dark Side of the Moon though and that's why it got so much radio play. The most incredible Pink Floyd Songs were Echoes and Shine On You Crazy Diamond. I also like Fat Old Sun from their Atom Heart Mother album.

I've heard a lot of those, I should probably start getting them though. I've known about Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin for a long time, I just never bothered listening to anything. I just tried Money and Stairway to Heaven. I didn't know that Money song was by Pink Floyd. I like it haha.

Muse is awesome, I gotta hear more of their stuff. I've heard Even Flow - Pearl Jam, I like it so I'll try Alive too.

Most of those Queen songs I already have, I don't actually listen to them though, I like 'em.. Just not really into 'em

Go into my rofile, and look at the picture in there, it has the names of all the bands I like..I listen to a lot more, but I particularly like those. Most bands have comprehensible names..If you can't read the name, you probably wouldn't like the band anyway, since it's more than likely that a band with an incomprihensible name is Black or Death Metal. Good luck.

Wow, people forgot about Nirvana. I could see Kurt Cobain crying somewhere. Seriously, add Nirvana to your tunes. :D

Some Smashing Pumpkins and Beatles might be the trick if you shuffle your songs.

Beatles' songs make you feel warm n' fuzzy inside. Nirvana on the other hand is the opposite.

Add some classics there if you appreciate them.. Some Bach and Beethoven won't hurt.

For Video Game tunes, I recommend Michiru Yamane for Castlevania music <remember SOTN?>. Some moody shit in there.

I hope you don't think my music is shit though.. But then again, its just my opinion.

Ivaron

Kurt Cobain doesn't cry when life doesn't go his way. Kurt Cobain just kills himself.

Hmm, see everyone always fucks up with the Chuck Norris jokes, but when I do one it's funny. Mainly because it's not about Chuck Norris :P

Okay uhh, recommended Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana? I've heard About A Girl by Nirvana and Today by Smashing Pumpkins. Both from GH:WT. :-D

And no I don't really care for classical stuff, thanks anyway. ^^

For Nirvana I recommend: Rape Me, Lithium, In Bloom, Heart Shaped Box, Dumb, and Polly. There are more than those if you dig the ones above. :D

For Smashing Pumpkins: Tonight, tonight, 1979, Bullet with Butterfly Wings, Disarm. From the top of my head that's all the titles i could remember.

Your list is cool though, a couple of artists won't hurt. :D

Here's from Michiru Yamane though out of Castlevainia: Symphony of the Night tracks. Hope i could change your mind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gjQHCem8Aw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MM_Q0nfaG0

I'm downloading some Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins right now. ^^

And that Bloody Tears song from Castlevania was nice. Not something I would regularly listen to but it's nice.

~~~
I just wanna go ahead and recommend something for everyone here..
Listen to Buckethead - Whitewash. Most beautiful song I've ever heard.. stuff that really soothes the soul.. He's got a lot of other soothing stuff too. But you should really listen to this.
Buckethead - Whitewash
Some people argue that the live version is better, and that's true for all of his music.
For anyone who's liked System of a Down, try Serj Tankian. Lead singer of System.
He's also got some more hardcore stuff, such as Nottingham Lace, Jordan and Final Wars.
Youtube some of those if you're interested. ^^
Monsters & Robots is a good CD...
I've actually only heard The Ballad of Buckethead, Night of the Slunk and Nun Chuka Kata off that album.
I was just saying that the ones in my previous post that those are more hardcore and some of his most famous works.
