I think Avenged has gotten nothing but better with every album. I can understand if you love screamo style music, that you wont like the new stuff as much, but IMO the newer stuff is very good and better...especially the newest album (untitled). At first i liked City of Evil better but then i realized how frikkin amazing the new one is. I love avenged. that being said i haven't listened to enough of their old stuff.

I guess they serve as somewhat of a gateway band... One can only pray that people move on to better music as soon as possible.

I listen to Bands like Lamb of God, Death, Iron Maiden, Five Finger Death Punch, Slayer, Amon Amarth etc
I still thin kthat a7x is good (mostly there old stuff) but w/e

Chuck, Araya, and Dickinson would probably kill you (well, zombie Chuck would) seeing that you put their bands next to LoG and Avenged Sevenfold. They're for emotionally oppressed teens who just like to shout in some futile effort to be hardcore or something.

That's the basic stereotype, really.
