i got a few cds of both... both alright... icecubes new cd... raw footage.... every song is good... i mean like ive listend the album str8 thru like 4 times in the past 2 days... hes just on another lvl

I like em both, but don't listen to em much. usually just when I'm with friends that listen to em. I havn't heard raw footage, gonna look into that now.
/chaos I listened to dragonforce way before they became 'popular' or even aired on us radio. I listened because the guitar rifts were crazy, but the vocals and lyrics all pretty much suck. I like how everyone is jumping on that bandwagon...
What beats me is how Dragonforce is so popular when there are so many better power metal bands out there :/

I'm not into power metal but you MUST listen to Control Denied they released just one album and don't exist anymore but if you like power metal you should try it if you already know them then...you could take another step and listen to Death.

I love the vocals. That's what I love most about DragonForce. And I don't give a shit about lyrics, I don't listen to music to fuckin learn, that's what school is for! I listen to music to rock out :D

P.S. - I didn't learn about DragonForce from GH3.

That's also why I listen to them, especially when playing a fast-paced game or something. It keeps me motivated.

I only mentioned Guitar Hero because if you ask a DF "fan" what their favorite song is, 90% of them will give the typical "FIRE AND FLAMES FUCK YEAH" response. A vast majority of those will then tell you that they heard it on Guitar Hero, and that's the only song they listen to.

Actually, it's like that for almost any band featured on a game like Guitar Hero or Rock Band. Shame.

and i suggest for rap fans they should look at tech n9ne (tech nine) and listen to his music... i been listening since he released his like first cd and his new one is just nice...

I don't like Dragonforce or rap for the most part. The only rap I liked was Tupac.

i make this statement because i have heard their albums because my cousin is a fanatic... it all sounds the same... meh... and the rap thing depends? old school/gangster rap is the best, pollitical rap is really good, shitpop music they play on pop stations all sounds the same has tpain or lil wayne bullshit in it... w/e

How about rap is plain shit T.T Yea... the only reason I hate it is because it's slow and boring, generally. =P I don't care for stupid lyrics.

I've heard rap recorded over modern-day rock music, it actually sounds really good.
