Let's see here.. I listen to a very wide range of music, and when I say wide range of music, I mean very very wide range of music. Some genres:

Electronic, Folk, Hip Hop, Industrial, Jazz, Metal, Metalcore, Pop, Punk, Rapcore, Rock, Soul, and everything that's a subgenre or crossover between those styles (so basically, any kind of music you can imagine). Rap falls under hip hop, and Reggae and ska fall under punk, for instance. Electronic goes from synths to dance to techno to ambient and etc. Even breakbeat, disco and psytrance.

But I have only 2 different artists I like that play country music, and those are Johnny Cash and Rednex. And even then, only a few songs of them. I don't know what it is, it's just.. Country mostly sucks, lol.

It's called "progressive rock" more often than "art rock", but I like the art term better because "art rock is not so much for dancing as for listening and it often tells a story or has a philosophical theme to the lyrics." There is nothing childish here, it's simply a manner of behavior and it doesn't really change after 20, it just adapts. If you are a choleric you'll stay a choleric, except past 20 you are either totally in drugs or you pull out and start adapting to society. On the other hand, if you are a phelgmatic or one of those organization people, you are pretty much already there because your mindset is that closer to the mindset of the society.

At 20, they level out because they gain more experience. But they do not act more maturely (waht does that really mean anyway), they just hide their identity.

gotta agree with most of the posts here. I hate most mainstream rap. however I do enjoy some bone thugs 'n harmony, that 2001 chronic album from dre, and all of tupac's songs except for that ridiculously shitty screwed and twisted album. my friends listen to a lot of lil weezy, and while he does have some good beats, i cant stand how he always laughs like an ignorant motherfucker on the track.
I used to hate all rap and only listened to rock (classic, alternative, heavey metal, oldies, funky rock) but during my freshman year theres a band that got me listening to a lot of rap. maybe some of you have heard of them... they are called Swollen Members. yes i know that sounds like a gay porno or something, but no seriously they are an awesome group from canada underground. I always thought a lot of their song would fit into diablo (i know a lot of you are gonna flame me for this) and they seem to be influenced by diablo lol. their record label is called battleaxe records.
