Are there any other people over here active in a band?

Trying to find people to play with me, but here almost everyone are like, hip hop and gayrock (H.I.M, Tokio Hotel etc. etc.), while i want people who are interested in METAL!!!
The only ones who like metal can't play instrument....atleast in this insignificant town in sweden.

Got a friend I jam with every once in a while with him on guitar and me on skins. He's a damn good guitarist. Maybe something will come of it; who knows.

As I mentioned in some other thread we're entering the studio in august to record our first album (really excited about it!). Already busy with artwork on the cover etc, If everything goes correct I expect it to come out late september/early october.

I'll post something by then,...probably gonna put some of the tracks on our myspace or something.

Only my name appears on the page though, the recordings and all the pictures were taken before I joined the band a year ago so those are of the old singer.

I'm looking for people to play with... My gramps has a recording studio which I record at every now and then just solo stuff. My grandpa just informed me of a classic rock band of guys in there early 20's that need a rhythm guitarist, I like lead more but at this point ill take rhythm so long as im jammin. Classic rock isnt my fav but i like it so i figured i might as well.

i have the same situation but instead of jamming on electrics we both jam on acoustics and kind of play a weird mix of blues flamenco rock and god-knows-what-kind-of-music!!!!

but its a lot of fun to play music if you have someone to jam around with!!!
