Look for an asus, they are most often the most fairly price, and I have never had an issue with any asus products, granted I have personally never tried out their laptops. You want atleast a gtx card, and know that the gtx 570 is better then the gtx 660, 580 > 670.
Avoid alienware/dell, their customer support is aweful, When I bought my M17x a long while back, aside from taking 6 months to get to me because of all the issues they had while people who ordered after me got theirs months earlier, the support and build quality was aweful, It ended up being so bad and filled with so many problems, I eventually gave up on getting it fixed and sent it to a poor friend a few thousand miles away.
I'd recommend upgrading it to a 7970m tho. The 680m is alittle more powerful, and nvidia has better diver support, but its waay to expensive.
Also I just got a Mx18 R2 right before diablo 3 came out with 7970m's in crossfire and it's given me no issues. It's the only gaming laptop I've ever had any experience with tho. Also the forums at notebookreview.com can be helpful.
asus republic of gamers series. Ive used a asus g73jh bought in 2010 and still runs like a champ game on it every day.
^ this by far. I've got one very similar that I bought over 3 years ago, its like the g79 or w/e. Even with zero maintenance (cuz i'm bad lol) it runs awesome. Hell it plays D3 perfectly and the computer as a whole stands up to my abuse easily lol. Anything made by asus and RoG is pretty awesome.
Gateway FX - i7 2.8 GHZ, 8GB Ram, 1TB HDD. 1GB to Video/Graphics.
Fiance runs well with Diablo 3, and many other games with an i5 - 3.3 GHZ.

Yeah notebook review forum is a very good site to use for laptop discussion, and the M18x R2 came out quite a good while after my M17x R1, so they prob have improved since then, atm I avoid them though and just got my new Razer blade today Ironicly the same day my wireless internet stops working xP
