Damn it! You didn't say what I expected you to say.
You were supposed to ask me where you lived. I would of said "Somewhere in Chicago." But NOOOOO, you had to ruin it... bastard...
Anyways, how was your vacation?
Fun fact: The first working 3D printer (also known as a Stereolithography machine) was developed in 1984 by a guy named Chuck Hull. It wasn't until recently that manufacturing these machines became easier to develop, more economically efficient to build and run, and small enough for the average consumer.
Another Fun Fact: I designed and built a couple of small trebuchets using a 3D printer back in 2004. It was small enough to fit in the backseat of a sedan, yet large enough to fling three fully loaded water balloons an average of 47.46 feet away with an accuracy test of 93.78% accuracy on a light breezy day. I made the day of some elementary students doing a physics project involving flinging water balloons at their teacher. Don't worry he had the other one to make it fair (I didn't say he had ammunition to go with it...).

My vacation was excellent. We mostly just walked around the city, going to restaurants of interest. I'm currently having city withdrawals, as I would love to actually move there. Perhaps when I save up the money and have a stable career.
Those are really cool facts. I assumed this kind of technology has been around for a long time, seeing that they are merely more complicated CNC machines (3-axis instead of 2-axis). I'm going to be working more with Modo to see if I can create several virtual objects and have them printed. Now is the time to immerse yourself in 3D printing because, from here on out, it's going to take off like a bat out of hell.
Bashiok - Blizzard Representative - 08/01/2011 -"So how many skill combinations are there now? Well taking into account 6 active skills, all the rune combinations, and 3 passives we currently expect each class to have roughly 2,285,814,795,264 different build combinations."
"Hey, I thought you'd like the witty irony of grub-on-glowie violence!"
mbease mate, you should run for the D3 t-shirt competition!

Okay, I will if I find some spare time. Thanks for the suggestion!

Oh god those water balloons aren't doing it for the army of origami creatures! Private!! Load our trebuchets and our mangonels with Grapeshot ASAP!! If we can't kill 'em, we'll stain 'em to hell!

Hahaha, brilliant.
This idea is actually becoming a reality right now. If all goes to plan, I will have a bunch of Grape Apes being churned out and sold in packs of 5 for those who like having bowls filled with glowing, fake fruit. More info soon.
But for now, a quick, simple doodle of a moonshine jug:
Nope, I was only on vacation for the weekend!

Very true. That one is a shirt design for a roller derby youth team. I may be doing the adult team next.

Hey, thanks! My girlfriend requested I do it since I didn't know what to draw, so I did. This is often the case when I draw animals.
Tonight's is a super quick illustration of a figurine I am currently sculpting and about to start casting. More details later.
