Sorry I haven't replied in a while, we have been very busy working on adjustments for the site which are largely driven by this forum. We have done adjustments to calculated ehp that are live and should be much more accurate now, so please check those out, and we are currently working on other tweaks. We aren't declaring that the site is perfect, one thing it can never predict is how a player wants to play, we do not wish to adjust how someone wants to play and we encourage it completely, thus we will never satisfy everyone. The goal of our website is to supply you with an mp level that will suit your current gear, as well as give a quick overview of your gear so you don't have to spend hours theorycrafting over which items is holding you back.
The feedback received on this forum has been phenomenal, we really appreciate all the support, there has been a lot of time and effort in the criticism of our site, and we treat this as gold. We cannot improve without critique.
Thank You.
===Update September 4===
DiaBro3.com - Update http://www.DiaBro3.com We have just finished an update we have been working on for a while. It is our goal to provide an increasingly helpful resource for the community. For anyone not aware as to what DiaBro3 does, simply visit our site and throw your battletag in the search. We'll take your character's information and help you figure out which MP level is optimal for your character with their current gear. We'll also rate your gear and let you know which items are holding you back. Our latest iteration contains the following adjustments:
DiaBro3 Recommended Builds We have added a new section below the armory which will display builds that we encourage players to use. We found that we wanted to provide a platform for new or returning players to jump in and this part seemed key.
Full Calculations Displayed We were always using a more in-depth analysis of your character, which reaches beyond the armory, however, we wanted to show more of this information to you. It has its very own tab so you can view this information if you want, or keep it simple. We located it below armory, and below the recommended builds.
Nephalem Stack Chart We are really excited about this one. Not only do we analyze the ideal MP for you to farm, but we also dynamically create a chart which grabs your gear, paragon, mp, etc and shows you a breakdown of your experience, magic find and gold find for each stack of nephalem. This is located inside the Full Calculations section.
We have also worked on many other tweaks, but these are the major updates. We really do appreciate the community support. Every piece of information helps us move the site forward. =======
That's a pretty cool tool. It was quite spot on analysing most of my characters (considering max efficiency and "one shotting" white mobs).
Just don't take it too seriously if you have a "hipster" build, because I think it can't take into account whether those works in higher MPs. For instance, my "Hand of Ytar" Monk can go as high as MP 7, and can one-shot most stuff on MP 4-5. It still classified it as a MP 1-2 character.
Says my main wizard is MP10... which is pretty much what I run on 90% of the time.
Says my ninja wizard is MP8... which is pretty much what I run on, though I switch with MP7.
But... apparently SubZero, the ninja frost wizard I recently built up for fun is MP5 capable. He died miserably on MP3 and gets killed by MP1 trash Heralds of Pestilence in approximately 3-4 seconds.
Not bad at all, and it estimated precisely the MP on which I already feel most comfortable. It's a really nice general guideline by which to prioritize my upgrades.
Put me down as MP4, with right ring, gloves, Lacuni's and WH as most in need of upgrading, Skorn and Ice Climbers least. I'm running MP8 right now, using a gimmick Paralysis build, and have an MP6-7 Archon set in my stash that's largely similar (Triummvirate + black spear over Skorn, Vitality Mempo so I don't get one-shot by maniacs or charging bulls). Or maybe I just gear too much EHP. I like not dying, but still being challenged >.<
Just wanna say that's it's a nice concept and it works pretty well except for the bug with the first item you move your mouse on... If you do it too fast, then a different item will show it's stats...
I would change the design. Move all of the explanations and F.A.Q to a designated page. Change the background tileset and use a different color theme. Get a better logo with a D3 character fighting demons or so... Anyway good luck!
It would be interesting if you could show a break down of how your algorithm determines the mp or gear quality level. It's good to know that I need to replace my shoulders, but knowing what stats would result in a higher score would help considerably. Same thing with MP level. Did my dps match up but not my defense? etc.

I guess that's a Blizzard API bug. The same thing happens on Diabloprogress A LOT.

Yeah seems like it... it happens to me on the b.net account page too...
It says my Witching Hour with 163 dex is crap. I disagree
EDIT: my gf's trifecta gloves are valued as almost vendor trash. Lol.
Manevru, I am sorry to hear that it is not rating your witching hour well, I would really like to look into it, could you please give me your battletag and your girlfriend's battletag so I can look into her trifecta gloves. I am working on making sure everyone is happy with my ratings, it is important to me, but it can be difficult to pinpoint without any direct references to gear.
Thank you for your interest, and constructive criticism, I truly do appreciate that you have used my site and given feedback.
This thing has got me abit confused. it rates me almost the same as cro (acctually saying i have more EHP and DPS than him)
and i know that aint true
I do not have your battletag or I would be able to look more closely. Firstly, you may have logged out buffed, and he may have logged out without all his gear correctly?

I feel like it's the sort of tool that interests everyone. And we got some positive replies so far.
Since most people visit GD, I feel like it will get a lot more visbility there
sup dawg come at me brah
Edit:

I think it's more harsh with gloves. My main wizard's gloves are "okay" and my ninja wizard's gloves are getting close to "trash zone."
Anything without sufficient EHP stats seem to lose a ton of points.
