I have had 5 Immortal king's chests drop in the last couple of days ( in 5 hours played). I kept two for my wife and my alt. And sold the others for 150 million.
Neither me nor my friends have ever seen an Echoing Fury drop. That is in an accumulated play time of way more than 1000+ hours. We start to believe EF's don't drop, they're just cheated items that some people bought on the AH :-P
I had a "lucky" streak of 8 legendary glove drops in 2 days though. 3 Gladiator's, 5 Forstburn's. [Insert random RNG flame here]
1,000 hours, never found (Inferno legendaries/sets):
- Zunimassa's Trail
- Zunimassa's Pox
- Inna's Vast Expanse
- Blackthorne's Surcoat
- Blackthorne's Jousting Mail
- Immortal King's Irons
- Tyrael's Might
- Ice Climbers
- Manajuma's Gory Fetch
- Uhkapian Serpent
- Litany of the Undaunted
- The Compass Rose
- Natalya's Reflection
- The Star of Azkaranth
- Mara's Kaleidoscope
- Ouroboros
- Depth Diggers
- BK Solemn Vow
- Last Breath
- Sky Splitter
I've only found one Mempo of Twilight, Witching Hour, Vile Ward, Zunimassa's Marrow, Immortal King's Triumph, Tal Rasha's Allegiance, Natalya's Bloody Footprints, Blackthorne's Duncraig Cross... ever.
I did find about 20 Gidbinns and Andariel's Visage, though.
Wow, that is... quite a comprehensive list. Do you keep track of your legendaries? Like, do you take screenshots every time or scan them or something like that? Or is it just based on your memories? I've got way less than 1000 hours play time and I can't tell for sure how often I've found some of the less interesting legendaries...
I don't know what you people smoke but my stuff doesn't make me see any legendaries...maybe it's because I've never been to Ponyland, I guess that's when you start seeing some green, gold and weird lasers coming from the sky. I'll just do my stuff and hope I start seeing those things too :/ I'm tired of yellow, never liked it and this game is all yellow.
What's your play time/paragon level/MF?
For me it was the same - didn't get my first legendary drop way into the paragon level hunt. But once you get a decent amount of MF through paragon, you get legendaries more or less regularly. It's important to note that you should get MF through paragon and not from gear; if you stack 300MF on gear your DPS will be so low that your farming speed is low, too. Top players with 300 MF (paragon 100) and insane DPS get insane amount of legendaries, because they have high MF and high farming speed, maybe even on higher MP (MP10, NV5, max MF on character you can get up to 625%). Just don't give up and keep farming! :-)

Memories. Especially the more desirable items like Zuni set, IK Irons, Blackthorne's pants that continue to elude me... every time a legendary helm drops, I go, "Is it? Is it?!"
No, it's another Andariel's. I picked up three yesterday from about four full Act 3 clears.
I did get a 1150 DPS, 166 dex, 2.7 life steal, 1.44 APS, socketed Echoing Fury two nights ago that sold for 600M, so at least that compensated for the many hours since paragon 100 that resulted in fail loot.
lol farm XP for 500 hours, then you can start farming for loot.
I'm not attack you personally, but instead the idea. Am I the only one that thinks this concept is insane?
I'm talking about my perception, not about the concept. And no one's talking about 500 hours, or getting to paragon 100 before you start seeing some loot. Once I reached p20, p30 (which is probably not more than a couple of dozen hours, don't remember) I got legendary drops on a more regular basis. It's just a matter of "getting there faster". Of course you can run around with 200MF gear on paragon level 1, but I think that also means that your DPS is low (unless you got a credit card and you're willing to use it).
And no, you're not the only one who thinks this is insane. To be honest, I think the whole MF thing has gotten out of Blizzard's hand. It's stupid that there are still casual gamers 7 months after release who haven't found a legendary yet, and some high level players are complaining about too many drops. 625% is not a MF cap anymore, it's a joke.
I've made around a billion gold doing the Alkaiser run. Just stick with it and the good drops will happen.(Well, except for witching hours, ice climbers and lacuni prowlers. I think blizz secretly removed them from the game.)
ohh before i shopped rmah, i made a break : 2 month long, i was at 130k dps and couldnt go further because real upgrade were 300m+ and i could not pile up money through farming except in a very verry slowly manner.
then i started again, for said levels (64-72) nothing dropped.
the only difference to when i took my first break and the moment i didnt take a break but bought on rmah is: i finished university, got a job and i do have money now
so it wasnt really a decision out of frustration, but wether i want to spend my money on virtual goods or not - or quit.
