What is with the asinine comments the blues are leaving? They are talking to the playerbase in a completely unprofessional manner. Its actually quite offensive as a paying customer....
They have evolved into a corporation thats only concerned with money, and to hell with the customers.
D3 is a mediocre game, its not our fault they fucked up, so I don't get the attitude.
I doubt I will instantly buy any more Blizzard prducts in the future.
Given the shit they have to endure from the damn whiners that play this game I can see them being a little edgy when it comes to replies. For every 1 constructive, well-written post being critical of Blizzard and the game, I see 500 whiny, crybaby posts. Every new game I play the level of whiny-ness increases ten-fold.
Do you expect them to write back all nice and stuff when they have to read inept, self-absorbed rants from players who can't spell, form a sentence, use punctuation or grammar? It would be enough to drive me to drink if I were in their position.
Be an idiot, expect to be treated as such.
Shit they have to endure? WTF are you smoking? Stop being lil fanboys....
They don't endure any shit on the forums. They don't even look at them 99.99% of the time.
They pay some idiot minimum wage to bring things of importance to their attention, and then the devs respond if they feel its necessary.

I agree with you about the way they talk to and treat their customers. I love their games (despite the flaws), but as a company I find them more and more greedy and arrogant. It's really a shame. I also know for fact that they treat their (low level, at least) employees much the same way.
I appreciate that the blues try to interact casually and occasionally with humor, but I know humor is subjective, and is bound to offend some.

I grew up gaming without internet forums. The entire phenomenon of being upset with a game developer makes no sense to me. No sense. I cannot imagine spending my time and energy being upset about something I choose to do for recreation.
Actually, I think the ones they're replying to in that manner deserve it.
They're perfectly polite to people who aren't being nasty trolls about things. I don't have a problem with it. Don't be a dick, and they won't reply to you in that manner. Simple. You act like that in a brick-and-mortar business, and they'll show you the door, too.
Unprofessional? No. Even in most customer service (and I've done quite a bit over the years) you aren't required to kiss the ass of people being complete assholes. So, yeah, those people deserved what they got.
I agree with the last 2 posts. Has anyone ever owned a business here? Doubt it. What do you expect them to say, "Thank the heavens we have such a beautiful fan base, oh you don't like legendary items, we will just buff them for you"
I ifnd they have been answering well, and giving responses people deserve for the most part. I prefer seeing some human qualities in the blues, than it seeming like they are just spouting company lines all the time.
Um did you read the crying babies on the posts? Or the Fail at math then saying ah-ha! They were acting like little children so they were treated like children. Being a customer does not entitle you to being a jerk, whiner, or act like a spoiled child! I laughed at the blue posts and the people they made fun of.
Given the shit they have to endure from the damn whiners that play this game I can see them being a little edgy when it comes to replies. If you're a respectful, civil person on the forums, there is absolutely no need to get offended. Their posts aren't directed towards you.
However, if you're a selfish, arrogant, ignorant fool, then get offended. You're the target. In which case you'd entirely deserve the smack down from the blues.
Their comments look bad because you're reading them almost entirely out of context, via the blue tracker. Go into the thread and read the context: read all the utter shit that the CMs are putting up with, then realise you're not even seeing all the crap: the really bad posts will have been deleted for violating forum policy.
In context, they're entirely justified. It's not about being a paying customer, or having rights. It's about being a decent human being. 'Treat others the way you would like to be treated yourself', I believe is the phrase. Act like a dick, be treated like one. Act respectful and civil, and you'll get nothing but respect in return.
I think it's a shame some people are so sensitive that a post from a Blizzard Community Manager will get under their skin. They need to lay down the law. And they won't make a post that says "Guys, shut the fuck up" because that would actually be offensive. Blizzard houses one of the worst forum communities and the blues do a pretty good job of handling all the bullshit while also collecting feedback.
If people don't want Blizzard employees talking to them with sarcasm , then they should try acting like adults when making their threads, and not spend their time insulting people who are doing their best to make an entertaining GAME.
What is with the asinine comments the blues are leaving? They are talking to the playerbase in a completely unprofessional manner. Its actually quite offensive as a paying customer....
You should provide some quotes or something when starting a thread like this. Otherwise it's just (yet another) random whiner thread. I think it's quite a job for them to have to spend all day deleting foul-mouthed baby threads on their company website posted by throngs of unreasonable immature brats that call them greedy pigs. It's actually pretty neat that they even interact at all with their players via a forum.
They have evolved into a corporation thats only concerned with money, and to hell with the customers.
D3 is a mediocre game, its not our fault they fucked up.
^^...and it's these kinds of posts that have been posted by the thousands, representing a MINORITY viewpoint, that I'm referring to. Idiots will post something like this ON THEIR WEBSITE and then wonder why their post got deleted. Hurka dukra durr?
I doubt I will instantly buy any more Blizzard prducts in the future.
You shouldn't "instantly" buy anything. Considering you obviously have a tome of all human knowledge (internet) at your fingertips, you could do a little research before impulsively buying something.
"Corporations" aren't running a charity. They won't be in business long if they don't make sure to maximize profits. People want to pull this "we are the 99%" bullshit and complain about the RMAH.....but their too shortsighted to understand that the RMAH gives Blizzard heavy incentive to keep D3 fresh and exciting for us, the players, for many many years to come.
In closing....grow up and see the world for how it really is.

I'm glad that they have the ability to say what they want. You know how frustrating it is getting yelled at, talked down to, have conspiracy theories thrown at you and bashed on an HOURLY basis?
Yeah they should be able to defend themselves and their company.
A lot of time they try for humor to defuse a situation, but guess what it doesn't work all the time and humor is subjective to each individual person, so yeah they have to get a little testy sometimes. Just because we pay them for their services, doesn't give us the right to bash them day in and day out or talk down to them, like some of the posters have.
Yes they are a business first, meaning their goal is to make money by selling a quality product. Quality is also subjective, not everyone is going like, each thing that is put or implemented in the game.
And no I'm not a "omg blizzfanboi!" or whatever asinine thing people try to say to get under your skin. I'm actually an Anet fan but I have loved the Warcraft series (starcraft blew) and a diablo convert.
Okay imagine Blizzard as a father, mother, or guardian taking care of thousands of ungrateful, self-indulged, whining, stuck up children that don't know whats good for them everyday 24/7 7 days a week.
If people don't want Blizzard employees talking to them with sarcasm , then they should try acting like adults when making their threads, and not spend their time insulting people who are doing their best to make an entertaining GAME.
Problem though is most of the people that instantly take to the forums to give blizz (insert other developers name) a "piece of my mind" are children/kids/teenagers, those that aren't mature enough to form their own opinion of a game or those that are just habitual complainers.
I've seen plenty of times where someone has posted constructively and blizzard has responded accordingly and have actually had meaningful conversation on the topic. Hell they have even used player feedback on a number of things to implement or fix the game. Can't do that though when every post is "this game sucks" "i don't like this, but I can't explain how to make it better" " blizz omg u gois, this game fels so old"
If you want to complain about the game or the company, doing it constructively. If you hate them and just want to bash, go make your own website and quit filling the community with more hate, that's my take on it at least. Agree with you 100% though.

The irony is....the way these brats are complaining actually makes it difficult for Blizzard to absorb the constructive criticism by the more reasonable crowd. So, as with any child throwing a tantrum, their fits of rage actually just make things worse.
Um did you read the crying babies on the posts? Or the Fail at math then saying ah-ha! They were acting like little children so they were treated like children. Being a customer does not entitle you to being a jerk, whiner, or act like a spoiled child! I laughed at the blue posts and the people they made fun of.
What fail at math? Given the limited #s its as good as you can expect. All I saw was blizz being called out on a bull shit statistic they used to try to mislead the public. The blue even said 17% of the playerbase unlocking inferno was proabably fairly accurate.

Ah so you work for blizzard , you're tight with their management staff? sweetness then you can hook me up with details of their next game before they announce it at blizzcon right?
If you seriously hate the company that much, which after looking at previous post by you seems to be the case, why do you support them by buying their product, or going to forums dedicated their products?
I find it funny though you throw out a statistic as if it's a fact with NO information to tell you you're right, but you get bent out of shape when blizzard says that 1.9% of CHARACTERS have made it to inferno.
People just like you are the problem. You sit here and bitch about how they're a company when you made them a company. For the longest time, developers were just gamers. They were your fellow nerd, but then kids made it so freaking miserable to try and interact with that only people making tons of money wanted anything to do with them.
I applaud their responses lately. The people they're responding to are giving them 0 respect and are generally acting like children who don't respond to professional remarks with anything other than ridicule. How do you communicate with the incommunicado? Talk to them in their own language.
The latest Blue posts remind me of how developers used to talk to the pains in the asses. That was back when games were really, really fun.
