Dude. if the game is that horrible how the hell did you make it so far? You must have been having fun to play so damn much for 5 days straight. You can't force me to play a game that much when it sucks.
So get over it already. Even if you never want to play again, the price of the game was probably worth the utility it brought in the many hours you played it.
Well, I was hoping it would get better. I actually defended it a couple of times against other 'whining' on the D3 forums. Then as I progressed I started to go 50/50. Now I'm just convinced it fails. I was so hyped that I woke up at 3 am on east coast when it came out. So its minus 1 and half days of launch day fail. But I did manage to squeeze a couple of hours into it. The game is good for a couple of runs in the start. But I fail to see it have the same longevity that Diablo 2 STILL has. I'm just genuinely bored of it. It's too simple, linear and limited. It was really dumbed down, a whole lot. I was on these forums when Blizzard aquirred the domain for the then Diablo3.com which was renamed to this domain we see today. I went awol for 2 years then came back when it was in beta stages.
Man, you got ripped off. Those greedy corporate types really pulled on on you. If I were you I'd contact customer support instead of whining to random strangers on a fansite......ya know, like grown-ups do?
You say it now, you'll realize soon enough as well how much it sucks. Just give it time.
Son, i was there the first week of Diablo 2 launch, i was even in D2 beta. People were saying the same exact things the first week of Diablo 2 that they're saying now. This is no different. I for one am enjoying the shit out of this game.

I was addicted to Diablo 2 from the start, never has it even slipped my mind then that 'hmm this might suck cuz its kinda boring'. Never.

You don't see how D3 has a high ceiling though? There is so much potential for this to have that same appeal of LoD but with a far more re-playable construct.
I consider D2 to be the funnest, most enduring game of all time. But even it had it's limits. I got tired of farming the same 4 areas ad-nauseum for years. LvLing meant 1,000 Baal runs....no other viable option.
Blizzard seems to have addressed these longevity issues quite well. They just need to polish the items up as to match what we knew with D2 and enhance the social aspects of the game.
I think PvP will get everybody humming along nicely when it comes out.
It's so sad that I actually went back to D2 to just do baal/mf runs, I'm not even kidding here.
And you think inferno in diablo3 is dumbed down compared to baalrun and mf runs? Are you trolling? This thread is hopeless.
Inferno in Diablo 3 is just plain f****ing stupid. It's hard in a bad way. Even if you do everything right and have powerful gear you still get owned like a bitch, kite>owned>kite>owned. It's not even fun, it's mindless garbage.
For someone who's not playing Diablo 3 anymore, you spend a lot of time on Diablo 3 forums.

I grew up gaming without internet forums. The entire phenomenon of being upset with a game developer makes no sense to me. No sense. I cannot imagine spending my time and energy being upset about something I choose to do for recreation.

In my opinion, having a challenge is better than doing the same mindless baal runs all day long even though you can do it without even opening your eyes.

EEEER! Wrong. Doing baal runs actually rewards you. I completed my nostalgic IK set like that. Doing mindless runs against elites and even Diablo in D3 in hell/inferno mostly only drops blue, there is no real incentive, that goes without saying for normal and nm. And even if they do actually drop a rare item, a legendary at best, it sucks 90% of the time and is much worse than my blue equipped items. So yeah mindless Baal, Chaos, Countess, Meph runs are actually more fun, sadly. Btw, I haven't even seen a set(green) item yet, not once. What does that tell you?
But for the sake of my love for the Diablo series, and its hard to do, I'm going to give it another week or maybe until the next patch at best to change my mind. Although I'm not too optimistic.
I'd recommend just sticking with your purchase. If you don't like the game in its current state, just take a break. Play some other games. And when you get back later, they will probably have fixed a lot of the things that are bothering people. It's not like Blizzard can't afford to keep improving the game.
