There is no official word on this, and we likely won't know specifics until the Beta begins. The assumption is that if you're PC can run SC2, it can run D3 on similar settings.

Alright i'm really hoping I can play this game on Ultra or Max (whatever the highest is) I'm a big aesthetics person and love explosions, vibrant colors, detailed visuals the more the better.

I'm a graphics kinda guy myself. Gameplay is core, but nice visuals hold my attention more and more after I become accustomed to the gameplay.
If you can run SC2 on Ultra settings you'll likely be able to run D3 on High - Ultra settings as well. If you don't have SC2 download the free trial on B.net, just to test your PCs graphics performance.

Alright thanks man I'll go ahead and download it... Dam my 128kb connecting.
If downloading it is to much of a hassle you can us www.systemrequirementslab.com to check how your PC would hold up to SC2 as well. I did both, just to make sure and found that I could run SC2 a little better than the test said I could, so it's up to you.
