Hi guys so we are all waiting for RoS i see but I got 2 questions.
Most players say that this expansion will come out in March, is that true? Because most sites only say 2014. I dont see any info about March.
My second question is will "all" our items be useless right at the start of RoS. I mean will we drop a yellow item better then our legendaries in the first 5 minutes? Thats the case in the beta but will it be like that in the release?
And they say its easier to gain paragon levels there? If thats the cause people will get maxed in a week
Edit: I dont see any reason to waste +100 hours on a charahcter to gain paragon level while i can do it much fastesr at release or something...im kinda lost.

Nope, you are right. Everyone is just guessing. March seems unlikely though for two reasons:
1) On March 18 the auction house will go offline. A pre-expansion patch will (as the name says) go online before the expansion, but probably after the AH goes down. Therefore, there's a 99% probability that RoS will not come out before April.
2) Usually, expansion PTRs are up for about half a year, so I wouldn't expect RoS before May. Probably even later, because with paragon 2.0 and loot 2.0 they did not just simply add some new stuff but completely overhaul the entire game, and it requires a lot of balancing.
So yeah, it's 2014, and not March, but more likely Q3 (Q2 [May/June] only if we're lucky, Q4 if the PTR highlights many problems that need further work).

Not right after the start, but somewhere in between level 61 to 70, depending on what items you have now. If you have pretty low gear in D3 now (less than 100k or even 50k DPS) you will probably replace it very very early on, after a few hours of play. Some streamers that have perfectly rolled items were able to enchant one stat and even use them for quite some time on level 70, but not for a long time; eventually you will definitely replace all your 60 gear.
But note that you want to keep at least some gear, the RoS monsters are not gonna give you their loot if you approach them naked

Speculation. Leveling curve isn't balanced yet and might be simplified such that beta testers reach higher levels a bit quicker. Also note that many people who got a beta key are 24/7 players who play insanely efficient. For example, some of them are able to reach paragon 100 on live in 30 hours. Not sure if you can do that as well - I certainly can't ;-)

It's safe to say that gaining paragon right now is definitely the one thing that won't be "in vain" once RoS comes. Gear will be reset, and we don't know how much of an advantage you have with a billion of gold. A recent bluepost said that stockpiling crafting materials won't help you either. But paragon will not be reset, so if you feel like playing right now and don't know what to focus on, the answer is: paragon.

One more thing. Infinite paragon??? We can open 10 charachters so it means we will have 1,000 points to spend if we max all them to 100?
