  • Legendary Gems

    • Bane of the Powerful
    • Zei's Stone of Vengeance
    • Gogok of Swiftness

Kanai's Cube

  • In-geom
  • Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac

IMPORTANT: Put The Swami in the armor spot in Kanai's Cube. Diablofans doesn't currently have it in the database.
Gems: Diamond in head. Emerald in weapon. Diamonds or Topaz in gear.

Magic Weapon: Deflection can be changed to Force Weapon if you're opting to go for more damage.
Teleport: Safe Passage can be changed to Wormhole if you're opting for more mobility out of Archon.

The most optimal build: equip In-geom and for Kanai's Cube use The Furnace.

The Furnace's affix doesn't effect Manald Heal and is therefore not a big enough damage boost to the build.

Flexibility in gear:

Weapons:

I would recommend using Starfire as your wand because of the extra damage, but any other 1H works well too. The second one I recommend is Aether Walker simply because it gives a lot of mobility and lowers the slight cooldown on your normal and Archon's teleport without In-geom. However you should optimize to use the best rolled 1H you have. Ancient 1H with great rolls is better than a trash Starfire.
Chantodo's Will and Chantodo's Resolve are good sources of damage too, but you might struggle to get enough stacks for them to be effective before you can already pop back to Archon and you want to be in Archon as much as possible.

Rings:

Halo of Karini is simply the best for toughness as you are going melt mobs fast and Halo of Arlyse would need too much tweaking.

Unity offers the same except it's only 50% instead of 80% damage reduction and doesn't work in a group so you can use Unity as a replacement in solo play. These rings aren't a must have if you're brave enough, but it's your primary source for toughness,

You could also do shenanigans with Royal Ring of Grandeur freeing up a spot in any of the Vyr's set spots or by equipping The Swami and leaving a spot for any Armor Power in the Kanai's cube. Recommended Armor Power would be Aquila Cuirass for another 50% damage reduction.

Amulet:

You can use any amulet with this build. Recommended amulet is Hellfire Amulet with Blur or Illusionist (or any of the 4 passive skills listed in the guide) simply because amulets don't have strong legendary affixes. If you're opting to not use Halo of Karini or Unity you could equip The Traveler's Pledge and The Compass Rose which will most of the time give you 50% damage reduction as this is meant for fast farming. If you want to push with this build I'd still recommend Halo of Karini.

Legendary gems:

Bane of the Trapped is on par with other gems and is recommended instead of Zei's Stone of Vengeance if you're not using Starfire. However you don't have anything to proc the affix other than the gem itself and Paralysis which is the reason to use Zei's Stone of Vengeance as using Bane of the Trapped would nullify Starfire's affix. Also switch Power Hungry to another passive (Audacity, Blur, Illusionist) if you're using Bane of the Trapped.

Minor notes: Having Pickup Radius in your secondary stats helps out too. For most toughness opt to go for different resistances.

Paragon Priorities

Core

Movement Speed
Primary Stat
Vitality
Maximum Resource

Offense

Cooldown Reduction
Attack Speed
Critical Hit Chance
Critical Hit Damage

Defense

Armor
Life
Resist All
Life Regeneration

Utility

Resource Cost Reduction
Area Damage
Life on Hit
Gold Find

Standard paragon priorities. Movement speed up to 25% and then everything into Primary Stat. With Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac and In-geom your primary resource shouldn't be a problem. Attack speed is prioritized simply because it gives more Manald Heal and Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac procs. You can choose to pick Resource Cost Reduction as your #3/4 priority if you feel like you can manage without it, but it's a #1 priority if you are playing around with Aquila Cuirass.

Build Guide

This build plays just like the other Archon builds which means that you want to spend as much time in Archon as possible. You try to hunt down elites as much as possible for those In-geom procs. When you pop out of Archon you'll start channeling Arcane Torrent on mobs which will then proc Black Hole instantly due to Etched Sigil which will pull the mobs together giving you more procs on Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac and extra damage through Spellsteal. With enough CDR (+50%) it should take only a few seconds to get back into Archon even if you don't have In-geom procs.

So in short:
1. Teleport and channel Arcane Torrent to proc Black Hole on enemies until you can pop Archon.
2. Pop Archon and start ripping through the rift (disintegrate is recommended).
3. Rinse and Repeat

Other notes:

You don't have to select a rune for Archon. The damage type with Vyr's set is based on your highest elemental damage% which is Lightning%. Make sure you don't use something like Moonlight Ward as your amulet that gives 25% Arcane% if you're below or 25% on Lightning%.

I'm not sure if this is the fastest speedfarm build out there, but I opt to go for this whenever you get Vyr's set from season journey.

Feel free to copy and paste this build however you choose, but proper credit is always appreciated.
