PTR Test build. 3 pieces of Marauders, 5 pieces of Natalya's with Rorg/
FrostBurn is also a good cube option if toughness is not an issue. Can be combined with APD.

I tried a similar build and was able to clear GR 100.
Cube Garwulf instead of Aquillas (Same DR, except permanent)
Use Ricochet rune instead of Overpenetration. (Takes down enemies faster, seems like you get 3 hits more frequently, rather than lining up enemies).
Use RoV Stampede instead of Flying Strike to trigger Strongarms.
Use Travelers Pledge/Compass Rose instead of ORoZ (damage from Vengeance and the Passive is less than 100%)
Still I feel rockets are stronger, although Karlie's Point makes hatred regen and RCR irrelevant.
I think Aquila's would be slightly more DR. Garwulf changes 63% DR to 81% with two more pets and Aquillas changes (1-.63)(1-.5) or 81.5% which works out to about 2.7% more effective health; still might be worth it though just to never have to think about resources.
I agree on the endless walk set as long as toughness is not an issue. You should probably also not sacrifice any offensive stats for CDR in this case and focus on Area damage instead. Gogok to either Pain Enhancer or Stricken depending on difficulty.
If you are not able to hit more than 3 enemies per attack, this is strictly far worse than just using a generic Shadow Impale build. If you are going to shoot, shoot for the stars and maximize fishing deeps in teh theorycraftz.
I feel like RoV Stampede could be used, but I feel like the knock back would also hurt your chances of lining up enemies which is why in this quick mock up I avoided it. your vault can probably proc that enough on it's own.
Going to update the build accordingly; made this on a whim to just see some basic math on if it would be reasonable damage.
I agree its nice when you can hit more than 3 targets, i just found my sentries aiming at random targets outside of the pack.
One other thing, sentries don't apply area damage. The pack killing, AoE concept doesn't work with N6M4, its a plink plink plink style fighter, you want each shot to multiple targets hard. That's why the homing maelstrom rockets work a bit better 4x Manticore x 650% CA + 3 rockets x 450% x 2(ballistics). Whereas Impale is 6x Karlei x 750% x 3 with ricochet.
Rockets win in both single target and multi-target scenarios.
Like you said, you need some other replacement stat for RCR, which is probably IAS on gloves/weapon, Resists/Life on Shoulders and Quiver and a health gem or even Red Soulstone Shard in helm.
The preparation skill can be swapped out with MfD, Vengeance (20 secs for bursting down elites), Caltrops bait the trap.
And you get an extra passive rune slot for Steady Aim.
These damage boosts may allow N6M4 Impale match CA Maelstrom/Shooting Star's single target, and they may even close the gap on multi-target.
Are you sure Area Damage doesn't work? I remember in patch 2.3 or something they made it work for pets, but I don't user Marauders enough to pay attention to whether or not sentries do proc with Mara 4 piece. If they don't the focus should probably be on CDR, Attack speed, Elite Damage, or Weapon Damage in all the places I would've ADed.
yes - sentries don't proc AD.
I'm sure you saw yesterday's PTR notes, Karlei's Point goes from 500% -> 300%.
N6M4 Impale is 4x Karlei x 8.5 x 3 with ricochet (if 2 other targets within 20 yards)
N6M4 Cluster Arrow is 4x Manticore (7.5 CA projectile) + (upto 3 homing rockets x 5.5 x 2(ballistics) whole screen).
- not a valid mathematical equation -
I was optimistic about this build being a strong pusher, but it can still be useful as a more mobile variant of N6M4 substituting Vengeance oe Preparation Focused Mind.
Oh, Ya, this was definitely not a contender for speed or pushing, just a janky build wondering if it was possible and any good. With the Nerf to the point there's not really well... a point. 33% Damage loss Feels Bad man.
