Nice guide. I like how you went over all your choices and potential substitutes. I had a few thoughts I wanted to share about possible substitutes or alternate options.

The damage levels seem outrageous right now after the latest buff, so I'd be looking to shed some of your damage options for more utility once I got geared enough.

F/R would be first to go so I could use Avarice Band + whatever. SoJ seems like the obvious filler ring for more damage (~40%), but if you don't even need that perhaps Obsidian Ring for its minor CDR benefits. Without F/R you wouldn't need a generator so maybe use Provoke instead? There aren't really any great options.

I'd also definitely want to drop Hexing Pants for Gloves of Worship, seriously they are unbelievable for speed farming sessions. Warzechians is another choice for more speed, and Leorics is also possible if you need CDR.

Finally, you don't need toughness once you pick up gold so I'd play around with Rally rune on Akarat Champ for even more CDR. However, having played many squishy builds with Goldwrap+Boon+Avarice, you are liable to be one-shot before picking up gold which is probably not worth the tradeoff.

Thank you for your feedback, all your suggestions are valid, however there are some considerations.

You mostly use Sage based builds early season, when you need DB for upgrading stuff.
In that time I don't think the damage will be overkill, on lower paragons and with starting gear you need every ounce of damage you can squeeze.


As for toughness, I personally don't like rolling without a cheat death passive, one that Prophet provides. Toughness boost is also handy for not dying when you don't have GW+BoTH combo up, but it all comes to personal preferences.

Later down the road, with more paragon and with better gear, you can choose to switch stuff up if you find it more convenient.

So...I was playing around on PTR. And I was thinking about Crusader speed farming. Akkhan is now so strong 1300% dmg that with Norvald Hervor set(100% multiplicative) you can Perm. Horse ride with Thorns and kill stuff....You can get 225% move speed (25%+150%(horse)+50(wings of angel).

I actually cleared T13 in like 4 minutes. But I think I was lacking dmg. And this was because my akkhan set doesnt have any thorn dmg and my thorn gem only 25. (paragon only 900) My total thorn dmg was only 170k. Just using horse to kill stuff while moving. Now you can also easy combine this with bombardment and belt for more thorn dmg if you need.. This build is very tough and doesnt need goldwrap. Rings you can use unity, stone of jordan(physical) and CoE. I used Aquila Cuirass, Geom and Unity in cube. But im really not sure what is optimal. I dont have everything on PTR and only tested for like 1 hour.

Please guide maker or someone who reads this. Test this combo out. In theory this would be fastest crusader builds cause perm. horse ride thorns dmg. This would also be the ultimate lazy build because you just need to move on horse and kill stuff.

You're talking about the Triumvirate build from 2.4.2 - while I haven't tested it against this, I believe this one should be able to clear faster.

o hey DarthKitty1 i was wondering one more thing is this build good for Group T13 or just solo ?

It's an Hybrid build, meaning good for both solo & group farming.
I expect it to really shine in group play where the insane damage of this build have more impact (due to monster having more health with 4 players).

You could equip Hexing Pants with full Akkhan's, use CoE in cube and use the following variations for cubed armor:
1)Gloves of Worship
2)Cube Goldwrap and equip Witching Hour (more damage)
3)Strongarm Bracers (switch Condemn rune to Vacuum)
4)Krelm's buff belt (more ms)
5)Leoric's Crown (more CDR, could be redundant with better equipment)

You can also keep RRoG cubed and use 2 armor you like instead of Sage's.

If you feel like you're doing enough damage and want more MS, you can drop F&R in favor of using SoJ+Rechel's Ring of Lacrency and switch your generator to Provoke - Flee Fool.
Note - this can also be used on the normal sage build.

Those are just a couple variations I can think of, but I'm sure there are a lot more.

In the higher Greater Rifts, and high enough Paragon, you need the Intelligence to increase your resistance to elements.
since you get strength through your Primary Para this is more needed.

I prefer using in-geom, cubing blade of prophecy, and switching the passive heavenly str into Fervor. That frees up some stats since Fervor gives cdr and the attack speed it comes with is a bonus.

Really like this build, works great for speed farming rifts(changed out restraint and focus for Avarice and Zodiac which will be swapped for a SoJ when I get enough CDR and use Provoke).

Having a slight issue with bounties though as some bounties enemies don't drop any gold not to mention the long load times before getting to attack most of the bounty bosses and that sometimes rares/elites/bosses/gobs can be far and few between. What would you swap for more survive-ability?

Tried Goldskin in cube in order to have gold drop during boss fights but the proc seems to be rather low. Was going to try out Punish + Angel Hair Braid + Justice Lantern(swap out Provoke and goldwrap/avarice) and see if i can still maintain the speed/dmg output. Thanks in advance for any help!
