Hi everyone,

i've been playing this build since S5 in HC and will explain here what you should aim for your gear and what are the possible changes.

THIS zWIZARD can be geared in 15 mins, but if you want a good one and be efficient, you will need the right stats : CDR, cost reduction, APOC ( with as much crit as possible). Then, and only then you will go for ehp to be tankier.

Amulet : get whatever you prefer. I've always been to lazy to get a hellfire amulet, hence the choice for arcane/lightning/cold immune. eye of etlich is also a good option.

Belt : string of ears. once you feel tanky enough, you can switch to vigilance.

Ring : Zodiac : absolutely needed to be able to reset the CD on blackhole, hence soak all the bad affixes.

Weapon : Can switch Aether Walker for In geom. question of preference

Gems :

Toxin : mandatory

Gogok : mandatory, especially for blackhole and teleport ICD.

Esoteric : recommanded. IF you are tanky enough ( with augments), try to switch to wreath of lightning.

Why storm armor? : it will help you trigger the mobs without fucking up the DR.

Build Guide

I will list the mandatory things you have to do to be a descent Zwizard :

1) Refresh the debuff on targets : you can double your damage dealer DPS, you are here for that buddy!

2)Check your dps position and be sure he has a bubble over him

3)loot always the globes from elites, hence your barb and monk can take care of your damage dealer and babysit him.

4) have a nice transmog

What you need to do to be a GOOD SUPPORT WIZARD:

1) Lag management : if your team dies because of the lag, you are probably responsible for that ( hello HC players).
The lag will depend on the mob type, and on the density. needless to say that over 8/9%, u need to take care and anticipe the lag. IF ITS GOING TO BE LAGGY, DONT SPAM YOUR BUBBLE EVERYWHERE, it increases the lag.

2) SHIELD PYLON : this pylon may kill you (#lag), or make you loose a lot of time. I wouldn'( recommand it to take it over 7% progress around you. it's ofc situationnal, but even on 98 you might lag.

3) Pack all mobs in ONE pixel: your bracers are here for that and that's where you will shine : the more packed are the mobs, the faster they will be destroyed. BE GOOD my friends and enjoy your beautiful TORNASH.

4) PYLON MANAGEMENT : tricky part of the game. You are supposed to have a pylon every 25-30% progress and 3 to 4 pylons in the GR. this is very important that you check the progress for that. This is the barb job but it applies to you also.

How to become a GOD Support Wizard

1)Burn Pylon spots when needed : if you don't want a pylon at a precise position and you are about to make 10% ish progress, hence making the next pylon appears, just burn the pylon, aka, go on the location spot to discover it and avoid having one.

YOU NEED TO KNOW THE PYLON SPOTS AND CHECK YOUR PROGRESS BAR AT ALL TIME.

2) PLAY LIKE A SUPPORT BARB , but A SEXIER WAY. Teleport everywhere, faster, before the dps gets here. BE THE EYE AND THE LEAD OF THE TEAM BY CALLING THINGS AND DECIDE WHERE TO GO AND STOP.

2) COMMUNICATION : this is KEY : u have to know

- when the WD/NECRO wil burst, or let him know to wait because you are about to bring more mobs/elites. on 98+ everything dies really fast so you wont have to work on packs : just melt them.

-Indicate elite positions on the map when you went to scout so the barb can rageflip them.

-what are the elite life %, to know if u have to move to the next point or not. (not true on 98+ since everything dies in 5 sec)

3) ANTICIPATE YOUR DPS PATH and never let him be blocked (in the case he doesnt have teleport/dash). while moving from one pack to another, the best SPELL IN THE GAME ISNT MONK CYCLONE BUT YOUR TORNADO WITH BRACERS to remove all mobs on one point and free the way.

if you are good, a dps will never complain about being blocked.

4) DONT USE your tornados like a retard, because it will fuck up the DR and your barb and monk wont be able to pul lthem at the right position. sometimes triggering mobs with shocking aspect will be enough.

5) Arbitrage between scouting and applying debuff : if you want to become a god Zwiz, you will always know, since you were in advance compared to the rest of team, if you still need to scout and look for mobs and elites, or be next to your dps and apply the buffs/debuffs. only experience will help you on that matter
