This wizard build is used in a 3 Lightning Wiz / 1 Zmonk composition. Check out the zmonk build here
This group composition maximizes experience gained per hour and can do 85+ GR's in around 3 minutes!
Build is well known to most, so it's pretty straight forward.
Season 11 Journey reward is Tal-Rasha's set, so all you need to find is 3 piece Vyr's - **boots and shoulders are required** but you can swap Vyr's helmet, gloves or pants for Tal's helmet, gloves or pants.
Use whatever weapon is better and cube the other between In-geom and Starfire.
Between CoE and Obsidian, it helps if one person of the 3 Lightning Wizards runs Obsidian to get back into Archon faster and help finish off that early elite pack so in-geom procs for the group.
Stricken is not really needed for RG, since a Lightning Wizards damage output is already so high and you aren't pushing 100+ doing Marwan's Speeds, so Goguk helps with attack speed and cooldown and is a much better choice.
CDR is not needed on the Tal's amulet, since In-geom will proc and will almost be up 100% of the time.

Offense - Pretty straight forward
Defense - Should have life % and vitality on most of your gear, so stack armor first, then life, then all resistance afterwards, since you get all resistances from intelligence.
Utility - Life on hit first, since you do over 9000 attacks per second... AD doesn't really matter and RCR is good for using more Arcane Torrents while outside of Archon.
Feedback is appreciated, thanks for checking out this build!
Critdmg>critchance because we have an offhand our crit will skyrocket, else a solid guide.
Simple and easy to follow! Thanks! Best guide I've seen in a while!
Static discharge is nice, because it procs obsidian ring the best. And yeah, one person in the group can go black hole, and another can even can go with the lightning hydra's, while using a CoE - but Obsidian can only be swapped for CoE when you have CDR on everything you can except the the amulet, so yeah static discharge wouldn't be needed then..
So in the end it comes down to what you have and how you'd like to play. I personally prefer magic missile over blizzard... there is nothing wrong with switching things out for other viable skills. Rocking an obsidian ring is great early on until you have all the CDR required to then play around with other spells and the CoE setup.
Hey, may I ask, if Wormhole for Teleport is inferior to Calamity, and if yes, why?
I can see the advantage of stun, but isn't "getting away faster and further" better option?
This is a group build, and you can use frost nova. Here is a solo build I found: http://www.diablofans.com/builds/88712
Insert legendary gems into your amulet and your rings, but they need sockets
Arcane torrent is pretty strong, especially when you have stacks of archon remaining outside of archon form. Before you enter archon form make sure you have 3 stacks by using teleport, arcane torrent and magic missile before you get your 4th stack with going into archon form with the combustion rune, then archon will deal insane amounts of damage.
You will also need attack speed on your gear to hit breakpoints fast enough to proc manald heal, otherwise you won't proc as often and archon form won't deal insane amount of damage.
QUESTION: On the weapon, would dropping INT for a AS/CDR/DMG% In-geom / Starfire be worth it? http://i.imgur.com/Ch5pWFp.png?2 I just got this and don't know what to do with it XD
So i got a dumbass question, but its bugging me too much.
From what i understand you dont keep your 4 stacks of tal rasha in archon, right?
You get to 4 stacks, have a burst of damage for 6(8) secs and then tal rasha goes off, or am i not understanding something?
Im pretty new to wizard. Should I be prioritizing AS over CHD/CHC? Also, Would 62.6% CDR be "too much", should i roll some of that CDR off for AS?
To summarize:
Gear that needs max CDR --> Gloves, Weapon, Offhand, Both Rings, Shoulders
Gear thats need AS --> weapon, Tal's chest, and gloves if you can get really lucky to get a quadfecta, and on rings (Royal Ring of Grandeur and Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac always roll attack speed, so look to get 7% from those if you wear them)
