This is probably the easiest Necromancer set dungeon once you know what you're doing. No real skill needed, just strap on some decent gear then run through the dungeon spamming your skills and you can finish with minutes to spare.
Where to find it:
The Dungeon of the Bones of Rathma is located in The Sacred Path in Act 2.
Travel to the Temple of the Firstborn waypoint and head back out to the door to The Sacred Path. Follow the path down towards the exit to Shrouded Moors and the entrance to the dungeon will be in a little nook just before the exit, on the left side of your screen.
Objectives:
* Accumulate a total of 500 seconds cooldown reduction on Army of the Dead
* Raise 100 Skeletal Mages
Tips:
Getting the CDR on Army of the Dead is the trickier of the two challenges, but even with basic gear (a Rathma's set and an Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac) it shouldn't be very difficult at all. Cast Army of the Dead as soon as it's up and then both types of your skeleton minions will trigger the mechanic on the Rathma's set that reduces the cooldown (anything that helps them attack faster such as Tasker and Theo will help this). In-geom also helps with the CDR total, but if you don't have one then Jesseth's set is still good because it'll speed up the clear. Raising 100 mages should be quite easy even without the Circle of Nailuj's Evol but it does up your damage by a big amount if you have it. Make sure to keep casting mages even once you've reached that objective because it's the key to doing good damage with any Rathma's build and it will proc your Obsidian ring. You probably don't even need Bone Spikes or Blood Rush - you can just stroll through the dungeon spamming your skeletons - as long as you make sure that you cast Army of the Dead whenever it's up - and you should still finish with time to spare.
Note:
Diablofans doesn't list Max Essence as a stat yet so when the Weapon slot's stat priority says Max Fury, that's what I mean. Max Essence gives you a nice damage boost from the Reilena's Shadowhook bonus.
Build alternatives:
If survivability is an issue you can swap a gem out for Esoteric Alteration or change the Devour rune to Cannibalize - it will mean that you have to hammer the button constantly instead of it being automatic, but it should solve any problems you have with recovering health.
If you have trouble casting 100 mages in time, you could switch Skeletal Mages to the Contamination rune and ditch Command Skeletons altogether. This means all of your essence goes towards casting the mages - just cast a mage between you and the mobs and they'll run into it and die. This would also let you swap out the Jesseth's set for something else. I can't see this being necessary though and having all the extra skeletons about will make it much faster.

CDR and RCR are the priority for your paragon points, and maximum resource will add a lot of damage if you have Reilena's Shadowhook in the cube.
The only change I made to the build was sub In-geom (as mentioned in your tips section above) in the cube as the 500 sec cooldown was a bit of a pain. Build works great otherwise.
Glad to hear it. I updated the build to show that In-geom will make it a bit easier.
The trouble I had was not killing all the enemies before I could get enough cool down.
I ended up using Blood Mages with the passive blood is power, Decrepify with Borrowed time and then set autocast on my army of the dead so it was always on cool down.
If the above didn't work I would have removed the Jeseth set and equipped a weak weapon
I didn't have any of the legendaries that reduce cooldowns, so I just put a diamond in my helm and Leoric's Crown in my cube. I had the 500 sec objective done before I had even cast 50 mages.
GREAT INFO !!!!
Kudos to you !
and this ain't an exageration ... Litterally completed Objective 1 before i could reach 50 mages
I would guess it might when you command them and turn the skill active, since it costs resource. If not, the Mages count.
So, by the time I did this, my gear was so overpowered that I had to dumb down my build in order to complete objectives. I have Jesseth set on, and 5 pieces of the Rathma set. I am wearing Ring of Royal Grandeur and Circle of Nailuj's Evol, with Krysbin's Sentence in the Cube. The one piece of the set I have replaced are the shoulders, in which I am using Razeth's Volition. I also have Sash of Knives on. My weapon in the cube is Reilena's.
Passive skills were:
Fueled By Death
Life From Death
Dark Reaping
Blood is Power
Skills were:
Siphon Blood - Blood Sucker
Skeleton Mage - Skeleton Archer
Command Skeletons - Frenzy
Frailty - Early Grave
Army of the Dead - Blighted Grasp
Devour - Devouring Aura
Starting out the dungeon, I just sent my CS out, used the cool down on AotD, then just ran behind my skeletons holding down the button for my SM until I had summoned 100. Once I reached that, I casted Frailty until Blood is Power was triggered. I continued to just send my skeletons out whenever needed, and used AotD whenever possible. I had the cool down reduction objective with about 40 monsters left.
You are making this build WAY too damage dealing. I literally had to unequip my jewelry and the shield just to not have my skele's deal so much damage that I couldn't get enough cooldown reduction on army of the dead... like I had success as soon as I just had 4 inventory slots completely empty... dafuq?
works perfect thanks
