ITEM GUIDE:

Welcome to the "infinite" dashing monk Cosmetic and Rainbow Goblin farming BUILD!

The gear itself only has a few important pieces and most normal stats are not required as this build is based around farming in NORMAL difficulty!

Ill be going over in detail SOME of the options you have with this build as a few are self explanatory.

This build is meant to use your creativity and can be changed around to fit your needs!

Most of the gear can be replaced with other pieces and I will explain which can be replaced if these pieces cannot be acquired.

HELM:

Prides Fall and Leorics Crown are going to be the helm of choice. You can wear either one and cube the other piece of gear.

* I couldn't add Leorics Crown to the cube Armor Power *

Prides Fall comes from Act 3 bounty bags and will provide you with 30% resource cost reduction when you do not take damage for 5 seconds which works extremely well with a Rank 25 or higher MOLTEN WILDEBEEST GIZZARD gem.

Leorics Crown is self explanatory as you are looking to increase the effect of any gem [ TOPAZ ] socketed into the item by 75% –100%

CHEST:

The Cinercoat is the best in slot for this build.

It will provide you with 23% - 30% reduced resource cost of fire skills [Dashing Strike /w Radiance Rune = Fire DMG]

If you do not have a Cindercoat, Do not worry! The build will still "work" with Raiment of a Thousand Storms chest piece. This allows you to use something else in the gloves or pants slot, which ill explain in the respected areas below.

GLOVES:

As stated above [ see chest section ] If you do not have a Cindercoat this is where you can replace the Set gloves for an item like "Gloves of Worship"

The Gloves of Worship drop from Act 2 bounty bags which make them easy to farm.

The Gloves of Worship will make it so the Shrine Effects last 10 Min, which is plenty of time to search an entire game for cosmetics.

The best shrine you will want to find is the "Empowered Shrine" as it will allow you to Dash infinitely.

PANTS:

As stated above [ see chest and glove section ] If you do not have a Cindercoat or do not want to farm Gloves of Worship you have another "good" option. You can replace the set item in the pants slot for Hexing Pants of Mr Yan.

Hexing Pants of Mr Yan, if you have them regardless of stats, will be a good option.

Hexing Pants will provide you with resource generation and damage increased by 25% while moving and decreased by 20% –25% while standing still.

You will always be on the move with dashing strike and epiphany granting you the resource generation.

BRACERS:

This slot is an open slot meaning anything will be decent here.

I recommend either Nemesis Bracers or Reapers Wraps.

If you are NOT running an In-Geom [explained below in weapon section] Nemesis bracers wont do much for you as there is no point in killing elites to proc the cool down reduction of the In Geom.

Reapers Wraps will provide you with a 25% - 30% restoration of your primary resource when picking up a health globe.

Reapers Wraps works extremely well with Avarice band, Boon of the Hoarder gem, and Rakoffs Glass of Life amulet as you will increase your health globe generation [Rakoffs] and pick up radius [Avarice Band /w Boon of the hoarder] to restore your Spirit as you dash around the zones.

BOOTS:

Hands down the best in slot for this is Crudest Boots as another ally will increase your Spirit regeneration for every ally you have and this build is all about resource cost reduction, regeneration, and cool down reduction.

RINGS:

The two best rings too use are the Avarice band [ as mentioned above ] and the Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac.

The Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac will Reduce the remaining cool down of one of your skills by 1 seconds when you hit with a resource-spending attack.

So this thing is always going to be ticking off your cool downs for Mystic Ally [ Filling your Spirit when used ] and epiphany.

WEAPONS:

Ill start off by saying an In Geom is recommended for one weapon slot but not required.

The weapon slot can be equipped with ANY two one handed weapons and the only stats you should worry about are COOL DOWN REDUCTION and RESOURCE COST REDUCTION on both weapons.

The idea is that you don't have to do tons of damage to kill monsters and goblins, but you need to be able to dash as many times as possible!

I personally have an In Geom and a Spectrum as my two weapons as they both rolled max [10%] Cool down and resource cost reduction.

LEGENDARY GEMS:

I've covered the idea and use behind the Boon of the Hoarder and the Molten Wildebeests Gizzard so lets tackle the reasoning behind the other gem.

The 3rd gem I use in my build is a rank 25 or higher Gokok of Swiftness. This gem will provide you with 1% cool down reduction per stack of swiftness with a maximum of 15 stacks. That is a massive amount of cool down reduction to pass up on.

CUBE ITEMS:

There are almost endless options for cube items but these are what I recommend.

In the weapon slot I recommend Jaw breaker because when Dashing Strike hits an enemy more than 30–35 yards away, its Charge cost is refunded. That is about 3/4 of your screen if in 1920x1080 resolution and its like having a free cost for dash as 90% of your dashes will be that far away.

The armor slot [as explained above] will either have Leorics crown or Prides Fall [No option to add Leorics for visual]

The jewelry spot has to have a Ring of Royal Grandeur as you want to only be using 3 pieces of The Raiment of a Thousand Storms set to get the 4 set bonus. This allows you to use a Cindercoat or one of the options explained above.

ADDITIONAL ITEM INFO:

As stated before, this build is a resource cost reduction, reduce cool down, and resource regeneration build. Any pieces of gear that can roll either one of those stats should be a priority stat. Its going to be on NORMAL so you don't have to pack a huge punch. You just need to be able to navigate zones quickly as possible for maximum farming potential.

Build Guide

INTRODUCTION:

I already spent a great deal of time explaining how the pieces of this build work together but I would like to take the time to explain how to play the build, farming routes for different cosmetic farming, and general tips I would give out during my stream for efficient farming.

HOW TO PLAY:

The build is pretty self explanatory but I will assume you have never played a monk before and are going to use the EXACT layout of the skills I put into the skill section. My intent is to reach out to users who would like to have an in depth guide on how and why things work to understand the build a little better. I do not expect many of you to need any of this portion.

The skills as laid out above may seem confusing but do not be discouraged. You will only be pressing a few buttons and the rest is guiding your dashes with your mouse!

The first thing you should do when entering a game is press "4" and activate your sweeping wind stacks as this, powered with the inner storm rune, will provide you with 8 spirit per second. You "never" have to press that button or worry about it the rest of the game.

Once you have started your route [ explained below ] and teleported to the zone the next thing to do is start pressing "2" and "3" together as fast as you want activating your dashing strike and epiphany while guiding with you mouse to monster packs and through the zone. Keep in mind you want be holding down the left click button while navigating so you can use epiphany to get "free" dashes when you highlight over monsters.

While epiphany is active, which it should be active all the time, you are getting 45 spirit regenerated and will dash immediately to your target which also procs your Jaw Breaker in the cube.

If you find yourself running out of Spirit press "1" and activate your Mystic Ally. This will give you 100 Spirit instantly and increase your regeneration by 4 Spirit per second. Considering your cool down reduction, In Geom, and Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac, This should always be available to you.

The last skill to be discussed and one I rarely used personally, is Mantra of Healing with Circular Breathing. It costs 50 Spirit to use but in return will give you 3 Spirit per second while active. The duration doesn't seem to be worth the cost so feel free to exchange this with whatever you would like and it wont effect efficiency much at all.

In summary of the "How to Play" section the only things you are really doing for the majority of the game is using dash and epiphany while holding down left click and guiding the monk around the zones killing goblins and finding cosmetics.

FARMING ROUTE AND COSMETICS:

I'm going to try my best to explain in detail this route that I personally used to acquire ALL of these cosmetics multiple times.

The route includes farming for the following: Rainbow Goblins [ Cosmic Wings ] , Mysterious Chest [ Falcon Wings ] , Harvest Pennant, Menagerist Goblins [ 19 different Pets ] , and the Liv Moore Pet.

If you already have one of the cosmetics or wish to not farm it, simply pass over it and continue on with the rest of the route.

I will also include some Honorable Zones which can be added if you please

!SO LETS GO!

ACT5:

Panemonium Fortress Level 1: GOBLINS

This zone either has a chance to spawn zero or two goblins. The zone is large but well worth it considering the chance of two goblins and they are normally close together.

ACT4:

Gardens of Hope Tier 1: GOBLIN AND FALCON WINGS

This zone is a great small zone to farm goblins in. The "Mysterious Chest" can also spawn here dropping the Falcon Wings. Keep your eyes peeled as the chest will look normal but be labeled "Mysterious Chest"

ACT3:

The Core of Arreat: GOBLIN

This zone is super small and almost linear. It has been nerfed in the past but it takes no time at all to clear and I have killed many rainbow goblins here, so it makes the list in my book.

ACT2:

Ancient Waterways - Eastern and Western Channels Levels 1 and 2: GOBLINS

This is the zone where most of my Rainbow Goblin kills came from hands down. Quick and easy with maximum results!

Stinging Winds: HARVEST PENNANT [Picture of Possible Locations Below ]

This Zone is the location of the Harvest Pennant. Very low goblin spawn rate so if you do not wish to farm this pennant you can skip this section as i'm going to explain how and what to look for to get the Pennant.

When you teleport to the WP, you have two options. You can either go North or South. You will be looking for an area/quest called "The Lost Caravan" This place can spawn either north or south of the way point so be sure to check both areas. Its not always going to be there so skip ahead if you do not find it. If you do find the area, in the very center there will be a 100% spawn rate of a monster name Beyatt. He is not important at all. What is important is the RARE spawn of "Graw The Herald" usually located to the south east of Beyatt. Kill Graw and he will drop the "Harrvest Pennant"

ACT1:

The Festering Woods: GOBLIN

This zone is self explanatory, Good goblin spawn chance and easy zone to navigate.

The Weeping Hollow: LIV MOORE PET

This zone is HUGE and farming it for goblins doesn't make sense as its a low spawn chance, but there is a unique pet drop here!

What you want to do is navigate the area looking for a Monster with the name "Ravi Lilywhite" She will drop the pet for you!

Catherdral Level 1 - Leorics Passage - Cathedral Level 2: GOBLINS

This the first of two "connecting zones" which you will travel across multiple zones without using WPs. Start in Cathedral Level 1 and make your way to Leorics passage while clearing Level 1. Leorics Passage is an extremely good place to farm goblins as its small and has one of the highest spawn rates in the game. From Leorics passage travel down the stairs to Cathedral Level 2 and clear.

The Royal Crypts: GOBLIN

Once again, short zone with a high spawn chance!

Leorics Manor Courtyard - Northern Highlands - Southern Highlands - Cave of The Moon Clan Levels 1 and 2:

This is the second and final "connecting zones" you will travel across. Start in Leorics Manor Courtyard and make your way through the fence, search the area and head south into Northern Highlands. After searching the area, again head south down into the Southern highlands and look for Cave of The Moon Clan. Search both levels 1 and 2 as this is a high spawn chance for goblins!

HONORABLE MENTIONS:

If you wanted to add in some flavor to change the scenery, these locations are lower spawn rates but I have killed rainbow goblins a few times randomly adding them in!

ACT3:

Bridge of Korsik and Rakkis Crossing

Tower of the Damned

Tower of the Cursed

ACT1:

Halls of Agony Level 1 and 2

GENERAL TIPS:

*** The most important thing to remember is: WHEN YOU FIND A RAINBOW GOBLIN AND CLEAR WHIMSYDALE, MAKE A NEW GAME!
You can find multiple rainbow goblins in the same game but from my experience, it takes you to the same Whimsydale.

*** Do not confuse WhimsyDALE with WhimsySHIRE.
WhimsyDALE is from Rainbow Goblins and you will need to find the RARE spawn of Princess Lilian to find the Cosmic Wings!
WhimsySHIRE is opened in Act 1 with the "Staff of Herding" and grants you the Rainbow portrait frame, if you find Sir Williams and kill him

*** After you find and kill 19 Menagerist Goblins and acquire the 19 pets, they will no longer drop pets.
They will be as useful as regular goblins.

*** You can find Rainbow Goblins virtually in any zone except from Rifts, Vaults, and Bandit shrines

*** It is a good idea to find 3 other people actually farming from the "Rainbow Goblin Hunt" community and split game farm.
This will not only increase your number of portals per day but create good friendships

*** Hire the Templar Follower so he can grant you increased Spirit generation by 10%

*** You can only go as fast as you want, meaning you do not have to double back for legendaries, kill random monsters, gambling shards or clicking chests and weapon racks.

*** You can turn your off all sound options except Master Volume of course and EFFECTS as this is for the goblin sound

*** There are MANY builds that can do this efficiently, the Monk was just my preference

*** This is just my Personal Farming Route. Feel free to remove or add any zones

*** From my understanding Rainbow Goblins are a 2% spawn chance. Do not get discouraged. If you hunt them, you WILL eventually find them!

Please comment if you would like me to add anymore tips!
I can not remember all of them of the top of my head!
