    • Boyarsky's Chip
    • Boon of the Hoarder

Gems:

- Helm: Diamond (CDR)

- Armor: Rubys (Strength)

- Weapon: Topaz (Thorns)

Gear Notes:

- Get Thorns as secondary wherever possible

- CDR should be above 58% for your bombard rotation to work smoothly and for having perma uptime on Akarats, even without an In-geom proc

- Weapon Damage does not matter for a Thorns build, so you idealy want to roll off the Weapon Damage to one of the recommended stats

- Thorns do not crit - dont roll CHC or CHD on any of your gear

- Unlike LoN, items do not have to be ancient for this to work - if you get a non-ancient with the right stats, use it instead of a mediocre ancient.

Variatons:

- If you dont want Avarice Band + Hoarder, use Convention of Elements + Bane of the Powerful

- You can swap around Helm/Chest/Pants and your Cube armor - just equip your best pieces and cube the worst one.

- You also can sacrifice hexing pants for akkhans pants, giving a free jewelry slot or a possibility to use a hellfire. There are quite a few variations you can run.

Solo GR Variant:

- Change Rings to: CoE / Unity

- Change Boon of the Hoarder to: Bane of the Stricken

- Change Nemesis Bracers to: Strongarm Bracers

- Change Cubed Weapon to: The Mortal Drama

- Use Diamonds in Armor Slots

- CDR must be 61% or higher (needed to sync CoE with Bombardement)

Build Guide

Rotation

  • Keep up Akarats Champion at all times
  • Travel to an elite pack with Steed Charge
  • Blind the pack with Shield Glare
  • Cast Condemn -> Iron Skin -> Bombardment in that order
  • Hit Steed Charge and keep moving to get the bonus from Hexing Pants
  • In-geom should have reset your Bombardment - if not, finish the pack off with Steed Charge
  • Travel to next elite pack

It is very important that you always cast Iron Skin before Bombardment, to get the 300% Thorns buff on your Bombs.

Never use your manual Bombardment on trash mobs - you only want to kill elite packs with it.

Important for Solo GR Variant:

  • Cast your Bombardment just before your CoE goes to physical - if you have enough CDR (min 61%), Bombardment will be up right before next physical
  • Kite, group up mobs and try not to proc between cycles

I would not recommend this build for pushing solo really high though, it has overall about 10% less dps compared to LoN and its hard to fit in the proc passive. You got the extra 15% reduction from akkhans set and (in best scenario) you have Akarats Champion up all the time, which you cant with LoN so your toughness is actually higher, but on the other hand you do literally no damage if you proc and lose Akarats. But it maybe work ok, i didn't test this in really high GR's tbh.

This is more an alternative to the LoN Bombardment, easier to gear and generally working almost as good.
