5th passive should be Cull the Weak

Jewelry power should be Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac

- With a little cooldown (gem in helm, shoulders, quiver, gloves, paragon) You can get 100% uptime on Vengeance and either 100% uptime on Compaion - Wolf if you need the damage, or about 60-80% uptime on Preparation - Focused Mind for discipline regeneration to be used for movement.

Gem for Dex, Diamond in Helm, Emerald in Weapon.

Make sure you have 12 Discipline on Weapon, Chest, and Quiver. Be careful if you are choosing between certain stats on gear without discipline, or a 12 discipline roll. Depending on the stat, you may be better off rolling Discipline. Keep in mind, Discipline's Damage bonus is additive with discipline gained from gear/abilities. When rolling for a perfect 12 discipline roll, always be sure that is the biggest dps increase.

Discipline Math:

Base: 30 Discpline, adding 12 discipline to that (Bow) = ~40% damage increase from UE's setbonus.

Current Discipline: 42, adding 12 discipline to that (Quiver) = ~28% damage increase from UE's setbonus.

Current Discipline: 54, adding 12 discipline to that (Chest) = ~22% damage increase from UE's setbonus

Current Discipline: 66, adding 20 Discipline (Invigoration) to that = ~18% damage increase from UE's setbonus

Current Discipline: 86

Now, lets say you have perfect discipline rolls on Bow/Chest, but now your quiver only has 9 discipline! The worst possible roll!

Current Discipline: 63, adding 3 discipline to that (9 to 12 on quiver) you would gain ~4.5% damage

Now, lets say you aren't doing this speed run build, and instead have Invigoration for more damage and are in the same scenario.

Current Discipline: 83, adding 3 discipline to that (9 to 12 on quiver) you would gain ~3.5% damage

Use this knowledge when picking what to reroll.

Hardcore Players: Drop Tactical Awareness or Cull the Weak for Awareness.

Build Guide

Build is simply focused on dropping a Convention of Elements in Kanai's Cube in favor of an Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac and dropping Preparation - Invigoration. By doing this, you can get more movement speed when needed, as well as make up the damage lost by having more access to wolf howl when that damage is needed. By dropping cooldown on your weapon, and you can even drop it on 1 more piece without hurting your uptime too much, you can pick up a little more damage to further close the gap lost when dropping CoE/Invigoration.

Combining this damage gained results in a more steady damage with less burst, which should hardly be needed for speed running.

Main strategy: Pick your cooldowns!

Weaker Monsters - Burn Preparation and Vengeance, spam vault between multishots to clear the screen.

Stronger Monsters/Elites - Burn Wolf Howl and Vengeance, spam multishots until clear.

Build works great for speed runs, Averaging about a 2 minute or less Grift-50 in decent gear.
