Swami Wizard Hat was balanced out due to overlap in archon stacks. As well as a cap on the ' Twisted Sword ' 5 Twister instead of 8 . And the fact that the Energy Twister will now despawn . I confirmed that it is still viable Greater Rift build. Using the elemental bonus of the Tal Rasha set piece along with Vry's two piece bonus for Archon form. While not as strong as 2.4.1. This build is close to achieving higher Greater Rift . Adding the Archon : Rune Combustion and having Fire % skill damage makes this build stronger than the Archon Rune : Slow Time witch is Cold based as many variations of this build suggest . Time the POP into Archon with the FIRE rotation . Of COE .Vry's 2 set bonus give you the effect of all Archon runes . If you are in a Dry spell of Elites use the Archon Teleport to search for them. This build can also do Damage outside of Archon. using Explosive Blast and Energy Twister also timed with the COE This build can still Wreck . Absolutely !!
Dude , Thanks for reviving this Twister Archon Blast build . I followed your guild and you are so right. It can do damage out side of the Archon form. Tons of survivability . And the Switch to the Archon rune Combustion was a great Idea way stronger . I like you guides as you fill out all gear with stats and have video . Yes . I'm pushing the highest GR I can . The Ancient Parthan have great stats . I recommend them for pushing GR . But you can use any that have Int , Vit Armor CHC Elemental resistance Life per hit . Strongarm Bracers will work . Ashnagerr's Blood Bracer . All are defensive . You could take a walk on the Wild side and go with offence bracers like Ranslor's Folly there awesome . As are Nemesis Bracers . Love Nemesis . Blow your blood shard on Kadala may get lucky . Have BlackSmith forge rare 'Yellow" bracers and force farm Ancient Parthan Defenders from 'Upgrading Rare Item' in the CUBE . Cost crafting mats however . Run lower level Greater Rifts for farming some. Hope some of this helps . Thank you for watching . Peace
Try to seek out Elite monsters as much as possible . I play all my builds with this in strategy in mind absolutely seek out Elite's . Running past small mobs looking for the Elite mods. But if I run into a large pack of trash with this Wizard build you can elect depending on your progression on time to wipe then out especially near getting 97-99% of the GR cleared and time is running out no Elite in sight kill the white Mobs to push you to 100% spawning the Rift Guardian . And this build can KILL out side of Archon . The Vyr's 2 set bonus gives you Teleport in archon form. If you run into a dry patch of Elite's use the Teleport from archon to seek out those Elite monsters .
You don't have a cold skill to get the 4th stack from tal'rasha.
Ice Armor and Ring : Halo of Arlyse working in synergy is your COLD element to proc the Tal Rash's 2-4& 6 set piece bonus .Good question though. If you Look at the 1:18 mark in Video you can see a large ICE Meteor come crashing down .If the COLD element was not working there would be NO COLD Meteor applied period . This is your indicator that the COLD element is working activating the Tal Rash's set piece 2 set bonus and therefore also applies to the 4 & most important (6) set bonus. If you feel you don't need the defense ICE ARMOR Rune : Frozen Storm or Jagged Ice may be used in place of Rune : Crystallize .

Would this build work even with low paragon levels?
Yes . The Archon form is strong and boost's to your resistance and your killing power 'damage' . Just try to get as much CDR as you can . Some times you need to roll off a good stat to get cooldown on gear. that sucks. you may get lucky when trying to reforge gear for an ancient legendary that will have 'area damage' and 'cooldown' on the same piece of gear . You do not need ancient gear but it really helps as you can Augment it through the CUBE but it is expensive. But adding a lot of extra Int. will boost your Damage and your resistance for toughness . One note on this build while CDR is important . You can kill out side of archon form so I am talking in circles a bit . So if getting 50%+ CDR is not happening . You can make up for it by killing using Tal Rasha's elemental bonuses like 2 set bonus Meteor .That is why I have +25% Meteor damage on my off-hand. And Energy Twister, Explosive Blast even 'Shock Pulse' can kill . Its a fun build to play. Thanks for checking it out .
Ice armor is a defensive skill. It doesn't apply a stack. The meteor might, not sure though. But even if it does, it's not optimal. That's why people use cold damage % on gear, so your archon is the cold skill. And how does combustion increases your damage?
