Build Guide
Yep, it's basically the same as S6.
Cubed armor is either Aquila Cuirasse or Heart of Iron. Equip the one that rolls better.
CDR breakpoint you want to aim for: 61+ CDR.
Passive from Hellfire: Indestructible.
Topaz in your weapon - you can roll off the weapon damage; it is irrelevant to your thorns damage.
More info from TheEndComes:
You want 61 CDR to double your damage, but you also want 65 CDR to get another 12% damage, which means max CDR on every piece you can get it except for one, preferably skipping it on the Amulet.
For shoulders, you ideally want anything that has the proper stats: CDR, AD, Bomb%, Str, Thorns, in that order of priority. Pauldrons of the Skeleton King actually can't ever be best in slot because it automatically rolls with Vit and Armor. Your best chance at having good shoulders is with the Invoker shoulders.
Thorns is not a high priority on gear. The most important stats are CDR, Physical %, Area Damage, Bomb, and then STR. AFTER all those, then you're looking at having either Vit or Thorns, depends on the piece. For example, Gloves can have 1000 Vit which grants you 3000 thorns, and 3500 thorns secondary, so if you need to make a choice, pick the 1000 Vit over the thorns. On the flip side, a Belt can have only 650 Vit but 9500 thorns, so thorns is more valuable there.

Absolutely genious innovative build, Thanks for work
Does this build work in groups or is it aimed at solo?
This build page is kind of a noob trap. You want 61 CDR to double your damage, but you also want 65 CDR to get another 12% damage, which means max CDR on every piece you can get it except for one, preferably skipping it on the Amulet.

Thanks for the knowledge bombs (no pun intended). I haven't played LoN Bomb before -- heck, haven't ever seriously touched sader, but I was looking into it for Season 7. Appreciate all of the details you provided. I know I'll need an advanced level of knowledge to do well with the build.
You could include for pants swamp land waders, which you can get if you level up a WD or paty up with one.
Then just reroll and you get extra phys%
What should I use in Caldesann's despair?
Could someone briefly sketch the right sequence for LoN in relation to CoE (and why)? It's been a while...
You have Thorns on only 5 pieces of gear. That might be the reason of your low dmg.
What is your sheet Thorns (IM inlcuded)?
How many Ancients to get started with LoN Bomb? I have 3 items required Ancient.
I'm having trouble pushing past low 70's with this build, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Here's a link to my character: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Nith-21925/hero/81380889
I can barely survive, and it also takes me quite a while to kill enemies, even though I do have 12 out of 13 ancient items equipped. Could someone give me some advice?
Looking at your char, one of your rings isn't ancient, so that hurts your damage/survivability. There is also not a lot of +phys damage on any of your gear, and that is what type of damage thorns is. You are also missing Fervor in your passives, because you don't have a hellfire that is granting that extra passive. You also need to use Bane of the Stricken, not Powerful. It's some of the little things, but it goes a long way in your damage
Guys, what to use for enchantments, STR, VIT, or mix?
What about cubeing Akarat's Awakeing shield or the Furance?
For those wondering about the 65% CDR thing: it's to get Akarat's Champion available for each physical cycle.
Thanks a lot for the shoutout Rhykker. I appreciate all the content you produce.
For the guys wondering, the reason you need CDR so high is because you want your cooldowns to be in sync with CoE. 61% is what you need in order to get the Bomb CD down to 16s with a little buffer, which is the duration of the entire CoE cycle. In order to maximize your damage, you only Bomb when CoE is up, and if your CDR is not at 61%, you will only be able to Bomb every second cycle, which cuts your damage in half over the course of the rift.
65% is what you need in order to get Akkarat's Champion CD down to 32s with a little buffer, which will enable you to have it active for every physical CoE and thus gain you 35%/3=11.67% damage over the course of the rift. Pop your Akkarat and Iron Skin BEFORE you cast Bombs, since they snapshot to your self buffs, and if you do this right before Physical starts, your Akkarat will still be up for the subsequent physical CoE since it lasts 20s. With 65% CDR, it will be up again in time to cast it again before the following physical cycle.
For the guy having trouble surviving, you have to understand that the build is not tanky. You only do damage once every 16s, and your job outside of that is to stay alive. Run around groups, avoid elite affixes, and use your Prophet HP refill proc and Indestructible to stay alive. In narrow corridors and caves, sometimes this will be impossible, and you will have to run past if survival is not realistic.
For enchantments, follow the stat priority that Rhykker has shown at the bottom. STR > Vit, so you should always enchant STR.
The Bombs snapshot to your self buffs. These include Akkarat Champion, Iron Skin, and Hexing Pants. The damage of ALL of your Bombs when you hit the Bomb button snapshot to these buffs.
CoE is dynamic. That means any damage instance that happens during the 4s that your element is up is multiplied x3. The Oculus Ring field is also dynamic.
Bombs take about a second to land and they take about three seconds to fall. The damage happens when the bomb hits the ground. What this means is that you want to hit the Bomb button so that all the bombs hit the ground during physical CoE. Combining that with what I said before, you should hit your buffs at around 9 o'clock on lightning (3s into lighting, 1s before physical). That will safely ensure that all your bombs hit inside physical.
Why would you want Attack Speed and Life on Hit on 2nd Paragon Priority? I mean, you don't have a basic skill to spam, I'd stat AS as 4th priority, as well as Gold Find 2nd.
It isn't that much of a change anyway, just stating for people who's still low Paragon
Even more importantly, which weapon should I use or any tips of when should I use each? I find Swiftmount better for speedrunning than doing high GRs.
