Kanai's Cube abilities seem to be bugged in the builder.

Jewelry: Ring of Royal Grandeur or you can run it on your char and go xeph amulet. If you're running low level XP's with an Archon Wizard, the Oculous Ring should be just fine. If you're getting wrekt by Lightning then pop in the Xephirian Amulet.


Something to keep in mind, if you're running lower level XP runs with an Archon Wizard, its ok to run a Starmetal Kukri/Belt of Transcendence because you aren't as worried about grouping mobs tightly, so the pets body blocking mobs doesn't matter as much. Don't do this with an Energy Twister wizard group.


Depending on the group, you may be called on to run Iceblink with Frozen Piranahas. Sometimes the Witch Doctor runs this, sometimes the monk does. When you join a group, just ask and make sure you get the optimal setup for that specific group.


You can stack toads just like the Wizard stacks twisters, if you don't have this down, practice until you get it. Sometimes the toads will still hop around, but most of the time you can get them to stack.

ABILITIES

Haunt: Poisoned Spirit


Enemies takes 20% more damage, spamming this will proc your Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac as well as apply bad medicine. Grin Reaper mimics will also cast this.


Big Bad Voodoo: Slam Dance


This is your most important damage buff, without running SMK you can still have 100% uptime on this between massive CDR and Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac. If you're running a difficulty where your wizard is dying, switch to Ghost Trance.


Piranha's: Wave of Mutilation/Frozen Piranha's


Wave of Mutilation proc's strong arm bracers, if you're wearing Nemesis Bracers for your group then switch you Frozen Piranha's and you can swap to the Iceblink legendary gem to give your Wizard more crit chance. Your Grin Reaper mimics will also cast this.


Locust Swarm: Cloud of Insects


25% less damage take from affected enemies, typically you run wormwood in the cube to passively cast this for you.


Mass Confusion: Paranoia


30% more damage to affected enemies, try to spread it around in larger pulls. Your Grin Reaper mimics will also cast this.


Hex: Toad of Hugeness


Helps with grouping mobs together in groups with an Energy Twister wizard especially, these can also help keep bosses in place for the twisters.

Spirit Walk: Severance


More than likely you're gonna want to run Severance in speed XP runs to keep up with the group, drop either Hex or Locust Swarm. If you drop Locust Swarm, switch your cube to either Thing of the Deep or In-Geom.
