Build Guide
In my opinion/experience this build is very strong, consistent, and not incredibly difficult to play DH build for Solo Greater Rifts. Also viable in group greater rifts. (if you run FNR version it is actually very easy to play)
Note: I always keep my diablo fans guides updated and current. I will make adjustments to the guide whenever there is a shift in meta! So be sure to check back from time to time and don't forget to up-vote the guide! please and thanks!
gem in helm should be diamond
If HFA passive = Steady Aim > Ambush > Archery
beginner alternatives
If you are new to DH sentry placement with polar station can be an issue so to ensure full uptime on Cull the Weak and Bane of the Trapped pick up a Hellfire Amulet w/ the fifth passive Thrill of the Hunt and swap Polar Station to Guardian Turret.
other variations; (recommended)
with a nearly perfect zoey's (~9%) you can swap the Visage of Gunes in the cube for the Cloak of the Garwulf you will lose very little toughness, but gain the supplemental damage from the 2 extra wolfs
other variations;
you can consider shifting the jewelry around, endless walks compass rose and traveler's pledge are a comparable setup this gives you an additional jewelry slot which can be either elusive ring, occulus or stone of jordan. This also gives you the option of dropping wraps of clarity and the generator for lacuni and caltrops bait the trap.
advanced alternatives
Drop some of the vitality to area damage or resource reduction, specifically on the gloves/quiver

Am I missing something? How do you proc both F/R and Wraps of Clarity without a generator?
the jewerely / generator combo is either or; either fnr+gen or endless walk+caltrops
ill make that more clear now
Yo can we get a stat priority on the items please <3
Which are the stat priorities for the equipped items?
if you read the conversation in the thread you would see where I responded to him and cleared it up already... and he thanked me for making it more clear
I use a spine of seathing hatred...for now. It has a Chakrum generates 4 hatred on use.
So with that quiver I never ever run out. Its awesome. Not as good end with the ruck sack but until then it works great!
So I'm kind of in the same quandary..
I've got Spines Cubed while I waited on getting the Dawn, as well as having the Sword of Ill Will. So basically I'm sitting at 150 Hated after spamming Chaks which gives me a crap load of +dmg% with the CoE, 5 Sentries and FnR. Should I drop the Spines now that I have dawn and go for a close to close to perm Veng build try and keep what I have, depending on how the damage stacks? Choices choices
Edit: I dropped my Quiver out the cube for the sword as now I can perm Vengeance, pretty much the same uptime on Hated.
I'm no expert but I can answer this question
The reason we can't really fit in that quiver is because you're going to have to give up A) dawn(40% dmg, RCR, toughness) or rucksack(tons of dmg due to mara 6 pc bonus). Assuming you have enough rcr/dawn you can easily cast endlessly without needing the chakram quiver.
On a side note, I have a couple questions for you philo or whomever. I'm very new to marauder but thus far loving this build.
1) I know restraint is my biggest upgrade...that said, am I better off rolling kadala for it or focusing on getting better set pieces?(since it's harder to get a ring than the set pieces)
2) What's a good "speed farm" variant? I know UE is better for speed, but if I already have a solid mara/chak set-up I'd rather use that until I get a good UE build through drops. I was thinking about using the vault-defensive ring in place of CoE and swapping bracers to warzch arm bands, not sure about leg gems though.
Hi, with that much focus generated from vengence seeth, isn't it better to use evasive fire harden instead for that extra armor in case there is a teleporting/leaping/invis mob that appear right beside you.
Second, to Philosophios: Wouldn't you want max resource maxed in primary paragon points? Since each point of hatred is another 1.4% damage on the chakrams...which are the main damage dealers.
Thanks for the guide!
Hello All,
I'm currently playing a Demon Hunter for Season 6 Hardcore and tested something out I found very beneficial for HC players and/or players looking to maximize toughness. This could possibly work great with other builds but the current build I modified slightly is the Chakram build.
Chakram Build Link: http://www.diablofans.com/builds/79024-s6-gr-75-84-chakram-marauder (By Philosophies)
Change in build: In the build Philo. posted on Diablo fans he is running "Dawn" as his equipped weapon and "Sword of ill Will" with Kanai's Cube. The bracers in the build are "Wraps of Clarity" (which when you generate hatred reduce your damage taken by 30-35% for 5 seconds.)
My Change: Equip Sword of ill Will and Kanai "Spines of Seathing Hatred" which generates 4 Hatred when Chakram is casted instead of costing 10 Hatred. This slight modification now allows you to consistently keep up a 30-35% damage mitigation while using the builds main ability.
This is a slight change but in my opinion useful for individuals looking to maximize on GR time.
Quick question, why are you not running twin Chakram?
good build. looks fun. kudos
Yo Phil. What are your thoughts on pain enhancer instead of bane of the powerful. I remember that last season u said this build should get AS wherever it can. Not in this build guide so I'm confused. Wouldn't AS be super beneficial bc so many more chakrams? And wouldn't pain enhancer give u sooooo much AS because with this build u will be gathering up high density?
