I'm a bit curious about the item choice for bracers..

You're using Ancient Parthan Defenders that triggers from stunned enemies - yet you have nothing in the build that actually stuns as far as I can see..

Wouldn't it be better to either use Ranslor's folly - or to switch one of your passives to Paralysis? Or do you use the Wyrdward ring on a follower while soloing?

How important is that magic weapon shield? 4% doesn't seem very much to me or does that stack? I would switch that to frost nova - deep freeze to get 10% CHC.

You have to be in the middle of the action, like melee range. The illusionist passive resets the cooldown. In there you just spam your arcane torrent and the twisters will pop up automatically and destroy everything. No need to cast them manually.

Curious to the Arcane Torrent rune Static Discharge over Flame Ward... is it simply because it splits into two hits and stacks Bane of the Stricken faster? The damage seems negligible compared to the ET damage so I'd think Flame Ward would be better for more damage reduction if it's not stacking Stricken faster.

Skills cast by Etched Sigil have proc rate of zero. So skils cast by Etched Sigil cannot proc AD. I would change AD on gear due to that.

I'm very curious about this too. I see everyone using Static Discharge but I can't quire grasp why. The "piercing lightning bolts" proccing Bane of the Stricken is the only benefit I could see. But like you mention, 25% damage reduction seems better than BoS procs on trash mobs.

edit: reading on Reddit u/psivenn mentions "the much higher proc coefficient returns more AP = casting more twisters = higher average twister buff". So yeah that makes sense, the crits from the piercing ligtning bolts return more mana from the 4 arcane power per crit that is on your source.

(1) For your weapon, your set priority includes Attack Speed? Why do you need AS when the off hand Etched Sigil only cast a twister every 1 second regardless of the attack speed. And even when you are manually casting the twisters, you won't have enough AP to cast enough for the breaking points anyway.

(2) For the offhand, you didn't include APOC (Arcane power on crit), this is pretty much mandatory since you won't be gaining AP without it. The Herbrash Binding belt will only allow you to maintain continuous casting of Arcane Torrent without losing / gaining much AP.

So the video does not match the guide on cubing. Which one do you recomend the video cube or what the guide says?

Also idk why but you seem to be able to pull off a lot more slow times than me. The twisters only reduce the CD if you manually cast them, in the video you manage to only need to cast 2-3 on average to reset the CD however the CD is 15 seconds and each cast only reduces it by 2 seconds. Am I missing something obvious here or something?

In addition to what i mentioned in my last comment about the cube in the video and the guide not matching, the passives do not match either you run illusionist in the video but not in the guide.

So what I realized is that this build is dependent on the ground? To be able to trap enemies against the wall to make the best use of the tornado?

Was using this build in a rift 70, but can not take full advantage of it, may not know how to play with it yet, but I can not have a good livelihood of my life with the shield of Magic Weapon ... A furnance also seems not make much difference against the elites ... And it seems to us that use this build we have to have some luck with the boss we got, since it comes a boss with a lot of movement lost much of the damage moving too?

isn't disintegrate - Intensify a more viable damage option seen the 15% increased damage for arcane? or does Arcane torrent proc somthing i'm missing?

The Endless Walk set looks pretty sweet now, but I wonder,

This is rather close-range so could Bastions of Will+Moonlight Ward have a shot at challenging Endless Walk?

Problem obviously being this would require Unity/Halo/Convention to be dropped out.

So, I guess the real question is could the extra 5% arcane damage and that extra passive arcane attack beat out that loss?

EDIT: Yea, actually thinking about it that seems to be a dumb question

It's a shame that only these few specific class skills are buffed up from the set. Really seems to be no use for a good item that activates it's own skill like Moonlight Ward because of that.

I've looked at many guides similar to this looking for comments or a build that has Deathwish used. I cant't find one, is there a reason no one has tried that or does it not increase "ALL" damage while channeling like it says. It seems like a viable option if it increases all dmg done (including energy twisters). Does anyone know if it does infact increase all damage done while channeling? Or just the channeling skill?

can some1 explain the choice of arcane torrent static charge? it doesnt seem to do anything special

Could use the wand that increases dmg when channeling beams, equip twisters bracers, and cube mantle of channeling.

Channeling is not your main damage source, you only channel to regain AP.
Your main damage is the twisters, if they hit enough mobs they will generate AP of your magic weapon rune which i had incorrectly listed as Deflection in this version (it should be conduit im editting it now.)
This weekend actually ill try to make a video of the build to show it off, but lately i been playing a lot of arcane orb myself that i havent given this enough attention.
