This is basically the LoN Blessed Shield build. Since the Blessed shield damage is greatly increased by Akkhan's Leniency (20% dmg per Jump) & Jekangbord (+4-6 Ricochets & up to 200% Blessed Shield damage) as well as 500% Blessed Shield damage on the first target you hit via Akkhan's Manacles you do not need any Legendary items aside from those mentioned. The Gyrfalcons Foote makes your Blessed Shield for free, thus you can spam it like a mad man.


The Aquila Cuirass gives you the needed Damage reduction, the Convention of Elements isn't mandatory but provides a bit extra in damage output.


Your gems should be at least Level 25 for the 25% damage bonus versus Elites from the Bane of the Stricken & the Attack speed Bonus from the Pain Enhancer.


Every slot can be Yellow or any legendary. The Stat priority, especially with only Yellow items is basically Base Stats (Str & Vit), %Holy damage on Bracers and Amulet, Cooldown reduction on Shoulder, Hands & Rings.


The skills taken in this Build are basically skills to make a Yellow-equipped Character a bit more tanky + some CC to avoid Damage in the first place. Especially Consecration - Fearful is very useful. You put the Consecration down, the Mobs will run away and your Blessed Shields will bounce around like hundreds of Pinball's. If Elite Packs (or entire Rooms) are running at you you can use Consecration & Shield Glare - Uncertainty to create even more Chaos while your blessed shield bounces around.


Avoid Ground effects as much as possible, use Iron Skin to avoid Frozen or to reduce Melee hits, use Laws of Justice on Cooldown vs. Rift-guardians & Elemental/Melee attacks and Akkarats Champion for a second life & as damage reduction (or damage boost vs. large groups). Shield Glare is also some what of a defensive cooldown since charmed Enemies will fight against each other (even Elite packs).


As for Gems - go with Str. Keep your resistance over 900 across the board, weapon should be %Critical strike Damage.


The playstyle is pretty easy: Hold your right mouse button and move via Force-Move Button (no standard key), target the biggest threat / the Champion to deal the maximum damage to them (Akkhan's Manacles) and keep an eye on your HP & pop a potion if needed. The bigger the pack, the higher is your selfheal because of Holy Cause & hundreds of Pinball shields.
